No fríes and they added pepper on my sandwich!! They didn’t add sauce on the sandwiches!!!! They really don’t care about food or service!! So disappointing 😞

Ill start by saying I have been wanting to come to this place in forever because of all the recommendations I got and I must say I was not disappointed. From the entry I got a warm welcome and was seated almost immediately. The menu had a bunch of good choices from the food to the drinks, I myself didnt know what to order but my waitress kim who i must say was a pleasure to be attended by. She was patient with me and my questions regarding the menu and she never dropped a smile. She suggested I got the Paloma negra and girl knew her stuff! It was my favorite. I also accompanied it with some asada fries and let me tell you they were a hit! Over all my experience was really great. You will be seeing me more often!

We took my mom here for her birthday dinner on the Friday after Thanksgiving when we arrived the place was pretty much empty, which was good for us because there was 12 of us. We were greeted and accommodated nicely. They put us in the back room with the large table And we were happy because we had our own private room that we didn't even know even existed we have been here before several times and I have never had an issue. Sadly I have to report that this time the service build sauce all over my mom and we don't mind that part because we understand things happen accidents happen but what we do Have to complain about is they didn't even offer to comp anything for that incident and they charged us for my mom‘s birthday celebration which I thought was really rude. I've never went to a restaurant where they charge to sing happy birthday and give a free shot. They charged $10 to bring out the skull and sing happy birthday and then $12 for the Mexican candy shot. I guess the server Told me they charged but I did not hear her otherwise I would've not accepted it anyways they ended up taking that part off the bill and taking a plate off of the bill, but we shouldn't have had to ask. It was a little bit embarrassing for us to have to ask. The food was not very good this time. It was just kind of an unfortunate night, but I'm usually happy at that place. I just wish they would have been more thoughtful to accommodate us since that guy spilled salsa all over my mom literally all over her.

LOUIE WAS PHENOMENAL !!!! He never let the glass go empty, I don’t drink but the table I was with drank like fish 🤣 on top of that as we winded down Louie made sure those who drank had waters to simply begin to hydrate . his attitude was so positive and as a server I’d want no other. The food was delicious, the drinks were outstanding, the atmosphere was delightful and fun. All the servers had a wonderful smile on their face but LOUIE was infectious. Give this man a raise @kalaveras 😁 We had a great time thank you Louie!!!

The manager seemed incompetent, not knowledgeable on the menu. Waited about 15 mins at the bar for the next mimosas considering it’s “bottomless”. Not very accommodating and overall just a horrible experience. Never ever choosing Kalaveras again. Head to Aunties down the street if you really want quality food and service.

Came to Kalaveras in Whittier for tacos, beer, and Rock en Espanol. The first song was luna de miel ny Virus; the last 5 songs have been a 1960’s song by Frankie Valle, Bobby Marley song, cumbia song, and an unknown song. False advertising.
