Horrible service!!! No acknowledgment for customers and the waitress there on Sunday was rude and is unprofessional and lacks alot of customer service.

Horrible service!! Walked in and stood there for a while since they have mo one to great you. The cooks looked at us for a while and finally one of them went to tell us we can sit wherever we want. Sat down and only 3 tables were busy, 2 had only 2 people and the other had 3 people so not busy at all. Sat there for a while and no one came to greet us or bring us the menu. The waitress passed by out table twice and no acknowledgement of whatsoever. She passed by again, someone outside asked her something she went to help them it came back in no acknowledgment. We decided to leave and go elsewhere. As we were leaving the waitress came behind us so my sister told her we were leaving because we weren’t helped, there wasn’t much reaction she really didn’t care. This was out 4th time going there and the lack of attention has always fallen short but we really wanted to give it another try since we like supporting out city restaurants but this time it was the worst.Based on the service, we will not be going back.

I went here about a month ago. Did the surf and turf roll. It was delicious. I'm not a fan of crab so I asked for it without and they did it. I came back tonight expecting the same. I asked for a miso soup, my gf ordered 2 spicy tuna rolls, and then I asked for the surf and turf no crab. The guy repeated both her and my order back. He brought out the miso and it was very sour. It tasted like they put lemon in it. I sent it back and let them know it was sour. Server never apogized or asked if I'd like another. When the sushi came out, 1 of the entire spicy tuna rolls was forgotten. My surf and turf had crab even though he repeated back no crab. When I brought it up he simply took my plate and then gave us the cold shoulder. There were only 2 other people in the building. So it wasn't busy. After taking my playe they brought out the 2nd spicy tuna after we brought it up. Half wau thru that they dropped off a new miso. So I figured my roll would be out soon. NOPE!!! And the server wouldn't check on us or even drop the check. I had to flag down another server. Even when we left, our original server looked at us and turned the other way instead of atleast saying bye. Horrible staff!! Will not be back ever again!!

This is a very good spot to enjoy the food and music. The Chefs are top notch and food is very fresh. The staff is very attentive and always checking in.

We had the aguachile roll. It delivered on heat and freshness.But sadly, we only ordered one roll and left. It was a Thursday night around 6, the music was so loud you could feel the bass in your chest. It was a vibe for a club and drinking but not having a meal.We wanted to try a new place, but had some stuff to discuss, this was not the place for conversation.Prices for drinks a little high so we took a walk and stopped at another place.

Hmmm, don't know where to begin. Walked in and wasn't sure what was happening. No greeting, no host station...nothing. 2 booths in the front entrance, one was occupied by staff eating! The rest of the seating was in the back and on patio. No sushi bar seating at all. The sushi bar wasn't set up for anything like that.Seems like they wanted to turn the place into a club/ lounge with music SO LOUD you couldn't think. If I was several drinks in, it was a Saturday night @ 11pm, sure! But not 6pm on a Thursday. Terrible marketing.Food was...overpriced? I mean look, it seems anyone can put a $130 tomahawk steak on the menu and it's this "expensive novelty and classic" thing? Not here. Steakhouse maybe, but not here. Potential was there....it was ripe with potential. It reeked of potential. But unfortunately, the food, atmosphere, service all came up short. Man, I liked this place when it was Bambooze. I probably won't be back. What a shame.

Good atmosphere with music videos, our waiter Javi was okay. Seemed nervous and shy, not too familiar with their dishes, his customer service skills needs improvement but he certainly tried and I respect that. Why the surcharge of $6.71?? And why does the restaurant charge $174.55 in cash and $179.18 non cash??? Thieves! Not cool! Not sure if I'll be going back to this place.. rather go to Kalaveras or La sexy michelada.

We came to celebrate Mother’s Day at the Whittier location and had such an amazing time thanks to Angel!We were shocked to see that while he was receiving some help from a couple others, Angel was doing it all! He was hosting, he was serving, he was bartending, and all with a great and welcoming attitude! He made my mom feel so special and was very attentive even though he was handling the entire store. My mom is picky when it comes to sushi and she told us her lobster roll was one of the best rolls she’s had! The vibe inside of the restaurant was so lively, and the menu varies from brunch to Mexican food, to sushi! We loved our first experience here!

Interesting restaurant serving sushi/Japanese dishes and a couple Mexican ones. Nice decor. Had somewhat loud music DJ'd in the eating area but not necessarily a bad thing if you want a higher energy environment, the mix was nice and more for a younger, energetic crowd. Sushi was good, but prices on food were a little high. Drinks were good and pretty strong. The drinks are a better value. Give it a shot.

The two servers weren't able to keep up with the demands of a nearly empty restaurant. My friends and I ordered shots as soon as we were seated, but they didn't come until I gave up waiting and picked them up from the bar myself. The service was slow, but the food was cute. I also had to refill our waters at the bar myself before our orders arrived.We finished as quickly as possible only to be slapped with a $4.44 surcharge. That's right, THE RESTAURANT CHARGES YOU ALMOST 5% JUST TO PAY YOUR BILL. Then the server stands there, pressuring you to choose an additonal giant tip option. That intensely awkward moment was the longest we had even seen our server the whole time we'd been sitting there... ?

Sadly, it wasn't what the reviews and social media hyped about. It looked very interesting online, but all the experience was not good at all. I sure understand the shortage of staff, but the food was ?not worth your money.
