I went in today expecting what I would usually expect, Santis delicious food. It broke my heart when I walked in and saw ā€œunder new managementā€. Really didn’t think anything of it, but the place needs to be honest. Santi is no longer serving his heart warming authentic cuisine. It was the ONLY reason I’ve been a loyal customer since he opened up his restaurant over on Whittier Blvd many years ago.

John change the name of the damn place in respect for Santi. I don’t give this place no more then 6 months.

We finally have a great little restaurant in La Mirada. We have tried many dishes and they are all delicious. The service is always great.

My family and I had such a great experience here under the new ownership! The food was fresh, flavorful, and honestly some of the best I’ve had in a while. The customer service stood out too—everyone was so friendly, attentive, and welcoming. You can really tell the new owners care about both the quality of the food and the overall experience. The atmosphere feels refreshed, the portions are generous, and everything came out perfectly. I’ll definitely be coming back soon and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and service.

Breakfast burrito was a disappointment after an early hike! Listed ingredients include bacon and eggs with potatoes, my burrito was 85% chunky cubed potatoes. Flavor was fine, did not anticipate a potato burrito overall. Be sure to have your waiter read back your order. Service was good, restaurant is very clean and orderly. We will return and try another breakfast option.

I’m glad I found this place. I was shopping next-door with my dad. We saw this place and we were in the mood for Mexican food. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by two hostesses with the most beautiful smile. We felt so welcome. The waiting area is beautifully decorated, but once we walked inside it was amazing, I love the way it’s decorated all around. Our server Natalie was amazing she welcomed us right away brought us water she asked if we been here before we said no, she prodded to explain the menus to us and recommended some plates, through our whole stay. She was very attentive to us. The prices are reasonable.

The food is amazing the plates are huge, come hungry or be prepare. To take home left overs, the homemade tortillas are to die for so yummy. The margaritas are great just the right amount of alcohol, the horchata is awesome my Dad could not get enough of it. If I could probably make a suggestion serve the horchata in the blue water cup the plastic cup does not look appealing, it would be great for a kids meal not for an adult. Other than that thumps up on the horchata.

I order the chicharrón in red salsa & my dad order the costillitas de puerco also in red salsa omg!! They were finger liking good, just the right amount of spices not to hot & not to milid just right, the costillitas had. Lot of meat in them.

The place has a well stock bar, TVs all around perfect place to watch a sporting even. It also has live entertainment. The gentleman was just setting up as we were heading out.

I definitely recommend this place. I would definitely be back.

I heard this place was under new ownership, so I decided to check it out — big mistake. Right away, I saw the new lady owner being extremely rude and prepotent toward the employees. It was uncomfortable to witness and honestly upsetting.

The food and drinks aren’t the same anymore either — the quality has clearly gone down. This used to be a good place, but now it just feels tense and unwelcoming.

I left with a bad taste in my mouth, not just from the food but from the whole experience. The way the owner acts toward her staff is unacceptable. I genuinely felt angry seeing how she treated them.

I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this place until the ownership or attitude changes

The food is excellent šŸ‘Œ and I will be returning to try other items on the menu šŸ˜‹ There is a full bar, there is a happy hour, and they offered karaoke šŸŽ¤ should you be inclined. Server's are friendly and attentive. Go for the food, stay for the atmosphere. The restrooms were very clean, too. šŸ‘

The food was pretty basic and the service was terrible. My first time and I had to write a review because I couldn’t be how bad the experience was. Never got a refil on my drink, the food was salty, server left all the plates on the table never came to get them until I paid the bill, and the server didn’t know much for everything she had a go back and ask if they had it.
