I was referred to LA Moderna by a friend who swore by their tamales. He wasn't lying. They are delicious. One of the best around Pico Rivera and Whittier. I used to go to Durans bakery in Pico, but they no longer make tamales. La Moderna has freshly made pan as well. For the past two years, I have gotten my Christmas tamales here.
