Lunch with my wife was perfect and Alex blessed us with his heart for service. Birria fries - YES!! Torta al pastor - Whoa! The salsa was on point and the agua fresca limon refreshing. We can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu.

The birria fries were amazing! I have been looking for some time for a good spot and this is it! I had to order to-go for my boyfriend to try and can’t wait to go back to try more of their aguas.

The cinnamon you put on your churros is way too overwhelming. I don't think there's even sugar mixed in it. Couldn't even finish it.

We came here today for lunch. It was my daughter's and my second time. First time for my son and his girlfriend. Everything was delicious!!! My daughter is super picky and she absolutely loves it. 3 of us ordered birria tacos. One ordered the Birria quesadilla. Meat was Delicious, tender and flavorful. Cheese melted perfectly. The consume was soooooo good.
We each had an agua Fresca and loved them. I mixed the watermelon and Mango and it was delicious and refreshing!
Customer service was awesome! Ambience is really nice! We love it here! This will definitely be a regular spot for us!!

The food was not good at all, I ordered 2 Mulitas and the tortillas were very dry and hard the meat is not seasoned very well I had asada and Birria I had to drench it in like and salsa. I honestly had high hopes because I always love to find New Mexican food spots. This one missed the mark.

This is only a desert review. Once I try their food I will update. Skip on the dessert. Not sure if it was an off day, but the churros and the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries were no bueno. Also, the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries were almost $14. Look for dessert elsewhere.

This is some of the best birria I’ve tried. I come about once or twice a week since they’ve opened. The birria ramen is really good and I like that they use fresh noodles. For the aguas I like mixing cucumber & mango together 👌The staff is also really friendly every time I come

I would not eat here again. The taste from the meat is very strong they did not prepare it correctly. It made me want to vomit.

It’s located into Rodeo 72, so it’s super packed, but that’s a good thing!

I suggest going during the weekday to get decent parking.

A little pricy, but so is everything else right now.

I recently visited Las Chelaguas at Rodeo 72 Public Market in Whittier, and it was an exceptional experience! The birria tacos were incredibly flavorful, with tender, juicy meat that melted in my mouth. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The vibrant atmosphere of the market added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend Las Chelaguas to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Mexican cuisine in Whittier. Drinks were also fire and have an assortment of flavors. Don’t sleep on the Dubai strawberry chocolate either. So GOOD!!
