I love this Cafe where they served breakfast, Mexican, and American meals every day in Uptown Whittier. They got burgers, sandwiches, salads, ice cream, and smoothies for customers to enjoy. Other than that, Mimo's Cafe is very nice the way they cleaned it up.

Went there for lunch and ordered a combo burrito which, according to their menu description, is supposed to come with chicken and beef aside from all the usual ingredients you'd expect to find inside a burrito. Turned out the thing I was served was about 90% guacamole, cream cheese and tomato In other words all the expensive ingredients were in microscopic amount. I don't usually write reviews good or bad. I understand that food makes it for you, sometimes it doesn't and that's fine. Ripping customers off is a different story and not acceptable.

Rude staff. Friend asked for a cup of water and the lady made an annoyed face. I asked for extra salsa for my burrito, the other guy working goes and places it away from me, and then walks towards me without giving me the salsa. Food was whatever… not worth the horrible service.

This store is very laid-back and cozy. There are a lot of outdoor seats. The pace is very slow. Having a meal and chatting here feels very enjoyable.

This happened about a year and a half ago, but forgot to review - but their employees were extremely awful & rude. I chalked it up as a one-off, but in conversation with others just recently - it's clear this is a consistent issue there. Food was up to par, but making the order was like going to the DMV in the 80s. I walk Uptown weekly and have never gone back - sucks that these positive reviews will draw folks there and change their perspective on our wonderful Greenleaf, when there's much better restaurants to visit.

TRY THEIR CHILLIE CHEESE FRIES! Their Chili cheese fries are insane. They have the perfect amount of cheese and chili. In fact the chili itself is slight spicy which gives it such a distinct taste and completely separates their recipe over everyone’s else’s. Trust me these fries will have you come back

Tonight was not the first night I have eaten at Mimo’s but I have to say it was the best night I’ve ever had! I met the most Amazing person behind the counter . Pat , was the blessing I needed tonight . The food here is always excellent. Beyond compare but tonight it was the service that will keep me coming back . Pat was the most amazing human being I have ever met . I can’t tell you all what an amazing person Pat was . If you have a chance to encounter Pat you will understand what I mean. Thank you Pat for making my Valentine’s Day.
