Very clean place. Very friendly service. Good portions. Plenty of options. Yes the place is on the pricy side of fast food Chinese restaurants, but the food makes it all worth it.

itle: Extremely unprofessional and disrespectful service
Review:
On December 13, I went to Pots N Woks in Pico Rivera (11213 Washington Blvd) to pick up food. While placing my order, the woman at the counter, who claimed to be the owner of the restaurant, suddenly yelled at me and insulted me in front of other customers. She said she could do whatever she wanted because she was the owner.
I was shocked, embarrassed, and very uncomfortable. This behavior is completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. As a paying customer, I expected basic courtesy and polite service, which I did not receive.
I strongly urge the management to address this issue and ensure that all customers are treated with respect. No one should experience this type of humiliation when visiting a restaurant.

I’ve been coming here for years. Now you’re basically forced to pick from one limited option, and for nearly $20, we should be able to choose what we want. On top of that, the customer service has gotten noticeably rude. I used to drive over an hour for this place, but at this point it’s just not worth it anymore. Really disappointed, I’m going to miss this spot.

Everybody has a bad day. I’m assuming the workers did when these bad reviews were written because I enjoyed the food thoroughly and the service was excellent. I’m so excited to come back, the portions were great for me and I have a big appetite. My one craving as a vegan for 10 years has finally been satisfied 🙏🏼🥹

1 out of 5 Avoid at all costs
The food is terrible chow mein (1/5), orange chicken (0/5), and vegan chicken (1/5) were all greasy, and overly salty. Service was just as bad (1/5), and ordering online deserves a zero slow, disorganized, and not worth the hassle.
You’re genuinely better off at Panda Express it’s cheaper, faster, and somehow tastes better and fresher than this place. I used to like it, but the quality has dropped off a cliff. Save your money and your time. Never again pots n walk away

placed a mobile order 30 minutes before arriving, but when I got there it still wasn’t ready. I tried to give polite feedback about not being able to add sides online, but the woman at the counter was incredibly rude, cut me off, and told me to get back in line. If you can’t even listen to your customer and tell them you can accommodate them when they’re pointing out a problem, you’re losing money — and that’s exactly what happened here. Way to dismiss me. The staff was disrespectful, the food was just greasy noodles, and the whole experience was unprofessional. I’ll never come back — they clearly don’t care about customer feedback or basic courtesy.

Absolutely delicious! We came for the vegan menu. Tried the vegan Kung Pao and salt & pepper crunchy chicken! So flavorful! We will be back!

I love the vegan options, but I'm not fan of the new plate combinations that only let you choose one item with rice and chow mein.

I used to really enjoy this place and would always give it 5 stars. They used to offer a great combo with two vegan options plus rice and chow mein, which made it worth the price. Unfortunately, they’ve now changed the menu so the combo only comes with one item instead of two, yet the price has gone up.
As someone who eats vegetarian, this makes the food feel overpriced and not worth it anymore. Eating out is already expensive, but now it feels like I’m paying more for less. Sadly, I won’t be supporting this place anymore.

This place has a good reputation, especially with vegan alternative. They use brand loyalty, bundling, upselling, and deceptive use of the paradox of choice for predatory pricing. They increased vegan options, but decrease choice for vegan combos. There is a two sides vegan combo, but two sides of only one choice. If you want vegan orange chicken and vegan mushroom chicken, you only get one or the other, along with your noodle and rice set up. If you want a second choice, say mushroom chicken, you have to pay for another combo, approximately 17$, and get additional rice and noodle combo that is not needed. You may opt for a la carte, but you get a high excess of mushrooms chicken, about triple amount of the two item combo, in addition to about a 5$ increase from the 17$ combo. Food is good for the area it is in and they do have good service, but management is taking advantage of people who opt for vegan plates. I put low atmosphere because people from outside interrupt you, asking for money. Im a caregiver for free, i work nights and go to school, handling 17 units. I still need to pay about 230$ for my last two books, I have no money to give at the moment….before you could have gotten a vegan combo of one, two, or three items with your choice of items.
