Disgusting burgers that are cold and taste like hockey pucks , never come here! I rather go to Norm’s Famous Charbroiled Hamburgers instead for better food quality!

**Review for Rick's Drive In & Out in Whittier, CA**

Rick's Drive In & Out has been a staple in Uptown Whittier for many years, and for good reason. The food here is consistently good, and the hamburgers are particularly noteworthy. They’re actually some of the best in the area, making it a go-to spot for anyone craving a quality burger.

The place is clean, and the staff is friendly, which adds to the overall positive experience. If you’re in the area and looking for a solid hamburger spot, Rick’s is definitely worth a visit. Personally, I’m a big fan of their pastrami cheeseburger—it’s packed with flavor. Don’t forget to try the onion rings, too; they’re the perfect side to complete your meal.

Overall, Rick’s Drive In & Out is a dependable choice for a satisfying meal in Whittier, and it’s easy to see why it has remained a local favorite for so long. Give it a try if you haven’t already!

The burger is no better than any other independently owned burger joint. It’s good but nothing special however the reason I give a 1 star is the fact that they have the audacity to ask for a tip at the DRIVE THRU!!!! If you pay with card they make you sign the receipt as if you were at a sit down restaurant and if you write a big fat zero on the tip like i did, their attitude towards you changes. I have never been to any drive thru where they make you sign the reciept and ask for a tip it’s absolutely ridiculous. What am I supposed to tip you for??? Handing me my food? Never coming back, I dont recommend until they fix that.

It's a solid burger joint with some sandwiches and Mexican options as well would be 5 stars but $75 (pre tip) for 3 adults is a little pricey imo. Definitely worth checking out tho.
