Just ordered Ricks fried chicken dinner it was perfectly cooked and delicious. The crinkle fries at Ricks are always spot on! and the salad was so super fresh really good! I definitely appreciated that salad an enjoyed it ?. David ordered the pastrami with extra pickles all so good. Thank you Ricks and also thanks to your very humble an kind staff. Payed $12 for what was supposed to be a carne asada burrito but sadly it was majority beans and just a little carne asada. It's sad because I grew up going to this restaurant and the Whittier community has took good care of Rick's to bad they rather burn their customers rather than show appreciation.

I've been enjoying Rick's since I was in high school at their Alhambra location, but sadly that place is now closed, plus I now live in the Whittier area, so this Rick's is my go-to, usually for the drive thru and rarely dining in, so I was surprised that a server brings your food ordered at the register to your table. Place can get quite busy with people of all ages abd from all walks of life. I enjoy all their burgers but lately been having less cheese. Rick's fries are one of the best as they taste like they were made from real potatoes. Their chili cheese fries are not bad but could be better. I have yet to try their other items like the quesadilla.Parking: Small lot but plenty of parkingWheelchair accessibility: Yes

The cashier was great her expediter not so muchI ordered their half blt sandwich soup and salad specialThe cashier was very busy and still very polite and courteous thank you for thatThe person bagging and handing out orders lady in red shirt started handing out orders the family who ordered after me got their foodI waited group of kids arrived and they ordered sat down still waiting see their food come out too!The cashiers is taking orders in drive thru and the front the lady in red talking away standing there just looks at me that I've been sitting and waiting by now my baby is fussing and angryThe cashier notices me and says the blt hasn't gone out to what the cook points to a bag lady in red just shrugsNow I'm mad like really sheThe cashier rushes to prep my soup and finish gathering utensils and condimentsShe was great even apologized for the wait she was a "wuerita" in a blue shirt didn't get her name I do apologize for being very dry when getting my food to herBut that lady in red was no help didn't apologize just gave me a look

This was supposed to be a special day. My mom came down from Arizona, and I canceled my doctor appointment to hang out with my mom and go have dinner at Rick's burgers, a place we remember eating at many years ago. At of all the places we could have picked from, we chose Rick's. I ordered $30 worth of food. A club sandwich combo, chili reino plate with a drink and a large onion rings, and i tipped at the window. We were happy. We parked and got off to eat outside Rick's burger where the chairs and tables were, but before eating, we wanted to wash our hands and use the restroom, so my mom went in first. As I watched her go in… I can see through the window that the worker who was cleaning looked like she had a problem with my mom wanting to use the restroom… so my mom was able to use it and I watched her put the key down on the counter as soon as my mom walked outside I walked in to get the key and the worker who was mopping saw me walking in to get the key, and she ran and grabbed the key and then ran to the back with the key where cooks are because she didn't want me to get the key… one of her coworkers saw what happened and lied to me and said someone is in the restroom. I explained that my mom was in there last, and I saw the worker run to the back with the key. The worker told me to knock on the restroom door. I told her I did, and....no one was in there. The worker then said it should be open (knowing that you need a key to get in) they upset me and my mom so much. We did nothing wrong for them to treat us the way they did. Hiding the key from mom and then lying about it. Please, to the owner of this business, please pull your camera, and you'll see that your employee took the key when she saw me going to it and running to the back with it. This is so wrong. My mom is disabled as she had a severe stroke and all we wanted was to have a good time and eat sine food… At of all places we picked to eat here where they miss treated me, so I walked out and told my mom let's go. We picked up our mess and left. I will never recommend this place as I felt there were strong judgmental workers. Please pull the camera and talk to your employees

It's been years since I've had Rick's. We were in the area and stopped in for a quick lunch. For 2024, the prices are reasonable. Pastrami sandwhich was stacked, Cheeseburger was classic and my choice of having breakfast for lunch did not dissappoint. The steak with my steak and eggs had that perfect grilled taste. It wasn't too crowded, staff was efficient, polite and attentive. Three of us ate for $36. It might become a regular Sunday after church stop. (note: Rick's stops serving breakfast at 1:00 p.m. as of this writing.)
