We went to celebrate my sons birthday and we all had a great time the food and drinks were good

A very nice evening although most food items did not arrive as hot as it should have been. It seemed a full house evening, slightly under staffed. This was my 3rd visit and I will return, however this was my best experience.

We ate at Rokka for the first time. I had the Coastal Oscar Filet Duo, which I have to say was the best meal I have had in a long time. The steak melted in my mouth and the coconut shrimp was to die for. My hubby had the Pork Chop with the veggies and he said it was delicious. The ambiance was great and our waiter Andrew did a great job taking care of us. We highly recommend Rokka!

Ambiance is very nice. Service needs work. Took several minutes, 15 to receive our cocktails and it wasn't busy. The crew needs to be more aware of clearing dirty plates and glasses. Two out of the four dishes ordered were less than satisfactory. I would like to go back and give it another try.

Outstanding. The staff were incredible and the food was amazing. Probably one of the best old-fashions I've had in a long time.

Arrived for just drinks and we were not disappointed. They have an extensive liquor menu. While the cocktail menu is small, I'm sure they are able to make what you are craving. Everyone was pleasant and attentive. Will definitely need to come back and try the food.

All good. Friday night very noisy but good music when I could hear it. Food and drink excellent.

Music was too loud and they made a mistake on the bill. But good to support Whittier restaurants. For these kind of prices I would expect much more professional servers ... you gotta know your drinks and your wines if you serve at a place with $165 steaks.

Really good service. Waiters were very polite and attentive. Food was good, and drinks delicious.

While the food was enjoyable, the overall experience was mixed. We requested a table where my guests and I could talk privately, but we were seated directly under a speaker with the music playing quite loudly. We asked several times for the volume to be lowered; each time it was briefly adjusted and then promptly turned back up. As a result, my dinner companions and I had difficulty hearing one another throughout the evening, which led to repeated miscommunication. Management also could have offered to reseat us after our first request for a quieter seat but chose not to do so. That said, our server was excellent and the food was delicious, though slightly overpriced for the experience. I would consider returning, but I would only recommend this restaurant for casual outings with friends or loved ones, not for business dinners where communication/conversation is important.

What so called “up-scale restaurant” who advertises being a speciality whiskey bar does not smoke their old fashions ?? Pretty sad and disappointing............

One of the most beautiful atmospheric experiences I've ever had. Food was great, service was fantastic. Even better due to the fact I forgot my credit card and the staff were nice enough to hold onto it for me to recover the following day.

Great atmosphere, quite. They do have tv’s. My friend had the ribs, large portions with sides. I had the pork chop, kind of tough, bright home reheated taste better. Next table had the tomahawk, looked large, they cut off the bone so your table. Customer service was great. On top of it. Street parking.

First time a few days ago. I had the barbequed ribs paired with a a glass of Sea & Sun Pinot Noir. Excellent pairing. Best barbequed ribs I have ever had and I am a Baby Boomer. Service was excellent and really good vibe. It's not cheap but I had enough leftover for breakfast the next day. That made it worth the price. Next time I am in Whittier, I will go for the ribs again.

I use to frequent this palce, and often never had any problems when I would come in. I had a male waiter, I don't recall his name, but I had a problem with him as he had a complete attitude when I pointed out a problem with the dinner I got. I brought it up to someone that claimed to be a manager (Hugo), and the dude was totally dismissive. The so called manager, didn't act very manager like and I was just angry over the entire situation. The food is generally ok, but my order was made wrong and was cold. Again, use to come here often, but probably won't anymore. Get a new manager.
