I had gone for a car show in their parking lot and was hungry. The food and service were great! I especially enjoyed the sweet potato fries. I had a horrible bloody nose in the bathroom, and another patron started praying and exorcising demons from me. I'm not sure if she got any out, but it was quite the experience. She said Jesus is coming this year, so I guess he'll be visiting southern California.

My family and I went there for lunch on a Thursday and they have a lunch special from 11 till 600that the server didn't tell us about it. You get 2 cheeseburgers and 2 fries and 2 shakes for 20 dollars. Wish he told us before my 90 dollar lunch for 3 people. Fish and chips plate was ok. I'll try the special next time, people said that the burgers are great

The smell inside this restaurant is horrific! It is a combination of pinesol cleaners which is masking something far worse. Not sure if it's a sewage or plumbing issue but it made me physically ill. I looked around at the patrons wondering what is wrong with them are they immune to the stench or do they think this is normal in an eatery.

From the Ruby's I remember this was a disappointment. The food was not impressive at all, sent back the fries bcuz they were limp & not crispy at all. The service was pretty decent tho. Prob wouldn't go back. ☹

This place has been a staple in the Whittier community for years. They are a 50's style diner that serves traditional American food along with a variety of milkshakes. We love to come here for the service, the desserts, and to carbo load every once and a while as their burgers are good but their fries are great! We sometimes like to come here just for the shakes alone.

I called in about an application I had filled out and called the same day asking if they are excepting interviews. Over the phone a female worker gave the phone to the “manager” when it was some random worker. The worker approves they are hiring and that I can come in on Thursday at 9 when they open. I go at 9 on time and they are closed… I had to wait outside in the sun till 9:45. I had even called and knocked while I was waiting and no one answered. Once they opened the doors at 9:45 I speak to the actual manager and he knows nothing about my interview. He then tells me they aren’t hiring and that he won’t interview me because he wasn’t the one to confirm it. Knowing this made me a little glad I didn’t actually get a job there because that just shows the type of management they have. Allowing someone to come for a scheduled interview and having them wait so long because they didn’t open at the time it says it opens. Then being clueless to what’s happening. I’ve never been a manager but I think it should be a key thing to keep track of everything no matter what and to communicate with your employee’s on everything. I actually love this place too and came here all the time as a kid but that just disappointed me and made me not want to go back in general.
