We came here 2 days back to back and was definitely not disappointed the first day we just wanted to try the place out and ordered the pork belly sliders and a brisket Mac n cheese. Both were amazing but… the next morning we came to get brunch and ordered the chili verde breakfast burrito along with the tri tip breakfast bowl and I must say that had to be the best breakfast burrito I have ever had! Plus the sauce with the salsa they give you for that bowl was delicious!!! I’m just upset that the brunch is not year around

This place should change its name to “holy cow” because of my God that was a religious experience! The absolute best BBQ in Whittier! Maybe even in all of Southern California! The tri tip sandwich is perfectly cooked, the bread they use is crusty but not tough, the BBQ beans have a great balance of sweet and salty, even the BBQ sauce tastes great! I have to talk about the macaroni and cheese on its own because wow! The macaroni and cheese reminds me of my favorite macaroni and cheese in the world which was the Mac and cheese that was served to me while working on Thanksgiving at Disneyland. It’s baked and cheesy and so flavorful without being salty! I cannot wait to come back and try more things!

I found Steve’s BBQ in Uptown Whittier through HeyLA, and it totally lived up to the expectations. The ribs were unbelievably tender and packed with flavor, exactly what I was hoping for. The place has been around for 24+ years, and you can tell they know what they’re doing.
Service was friendly, prices were fair for the portions, and everything came out hot and fresh. If you’ve been seeing this spot online and wondering if it’s worth the hype… it absolutely is. I’ll definitely be back.

Good Food, Nice Atmosphere but alittle over priced for BBQ. Its was a Nice experience and I walked away happy and not disappointed. But price point was alittle high. I don't know where they cook? You couldn't smell any BBQ/Smoker and all the greats you can smell the cooking inside the facility.

GREAT Service, food and drinks! What more can you ask for?! My go to is the fried chicken sandwich and the brisket nachos! YUM!! But tbh everything on the menu is so good!
Food was really good. My daughter picked up the order and said the woman at check out seemed rushed and uninterested in helping. Not sure about atmosphere since the order was “to go”. Wish you guys offered a bread option like biscuits.

Ordered the sample platter along with the brisket sandwich. Everything was cooked to perfection. I have to say their potato salad was very good too! All the Ribs, chicken, hot links, mashed potatoes was delicious. I ordered for my son and I and the food was ready in 30 mins. Plenty of leftovers for us for the weekend!! Five stars all the way!! 👍🏼
