1. Guy at the register was extremely rude while taking our order 2. Chicken was dry and food was overpriced 3. My son ordered a kids burger thinking it had cheese but It didnât so when he went to ask if the burger was missing cheese the man was EXTREMELY rude and told him âkids burger! No cheese!â In an EXTREMELY rude manner. I went up to see what was going on and he continued to be rude and show terrible customer service. 4. When my son went to ask for a box To go, the man (different man from behind the register) cooking also responded in a very rude manner when he asked for the box to go.

This place, and I cannot stress this enough, deserves 5 stars on every level. The first time I came here, I got a teriyaki burger with bacon and avocado and the price was insanely good. Less than some fast food burgers, and they did not skimp on the bacon or avocado. Best Burger of my life. Devoured it immediately, forgot to take pic. This time I got the chicken cutlet plate. They make everything fresh and the portions are huge. Also, everyone there is incredibly friendly. New favorite spot.

This place never disappoints. Taste,price and service. Had a combination teriyaki and a jumbo egg roll .âDeliciousâ the taste is so good. Totally recommend. Very fair price for the portion of food.

I needed a place to sit so Went in and bought us a couple of bottled drinks and sat at the outside tables. Such a great view and atmosphere. Teriyaki Bistro sits on the corner of Grernleaf Avenue AND Wardman Street. After checking out their menu, we decided to come back after the movie, and CALMLY eat our food Grandson had cheeseburger kids meal with a fountain drink. Very very good and tasty My wife and I shared the chicken & beef teriyaki bowl with chredded cabbsge an green onions as our toppings. And teo egg rolls. So delicious. We are definitely coming back again and again and again and again Service was WONDERFUL clean place. Great ambiance. Cool music, too! They have a loft area which didn't get to explore Highly recommend

I ask if I can get half veggie and half teriyaki chicken bowl. And he said that you canât get that with rice. I was like is there anyway I can get half bowl with veggie and chicken and rice and he said no. But he said You canâ get the veggies on the side. I was like is that o lol with you ? I think I rocked the boat unintentionally. Very unfriendly and condescending attitude. Stick with the menu people to avoid unnecessary attitude. Food was decent!

Been coming here for years, one of the best places to eat in the Uptown Whittier area, the food is always made to order so it can take awhile to come out, the prices are very reasonable here, considering the quality. I highly recommend any of the bowls, the teriyaki burger is also a favorite, on this occasion I went with the Beef Teriyaki Burrito, this is one of those burritos that made you sad after the last bite because it was so good and you're not sure if you'll ever have that same experience, definitely recommended if you like teriyaki.
I went to college at Whittier, graduated 2014 and I lived off this place lol. I recently was back in the area and no joke, stopped here first. Still SO SO good. No joke for the last 10 years I would get a craving for it. I want to go back and try something new but I had to go for my old order of the teriyaki chicken bowl with rice, green onion, sesame seeds and avocado

I work in Uptown Whittier and appreciate that this place is within walking distance! I got the chicken teriyaki bowl with pineapple and green onion and it was sooooo delicious ? The meat was flavorful and tender. Will definitely be ordering from here again!
