Was really looking forward to trying this spot as we are new to Whittier (1 year) and the online photos and reviews looked promising. Came in on a Monday, ordered the Italian and a double pastrami sandwiches and an order of onion rings to go. Total with tip came out to $60 and some change. Husband enjoyed the Italian but pastrami was extremely salty- to the point of being inedible. So bummed about it! So we shared the Italian (it was good), enjoyed the pickles and onion rings. I called beehive to advise them of the unfortunate over salting of the pastrami and the associate responded with “oh ok” followed with dead silence. I don’t believe we will be back to try anything else. Will likely stick to uptown provisions.

Such a cute healthy market/diner!
My friend brought me and we had the most delicious early dinner meal! We opted for the specials which were delicious and generous portions!

Overall, had a good experience 👍 My only downside was on my smoothie, the Waikiki.
Was kind of gritty and thought it tasted different than what I imagined. Not saying it was terrible, I finished it😉
My wife had the Peach Protein and thought it was on point, I liked it better also.
Not the end of the world. Will be back to try another flavor👍
Thought it was just a little more expensive than it should be, but most things seem to be anymore😢.

Tired to apply for work was told not good enough to my face With being many years of experience in the restaurant industry could of told me this over the phone instead of wasting my time buyer beware hard working man trying to fine work to take care of his family.
But this classic someone trying to create opportunity for himself there is someone always trying to keep a good guy down to someone with experience and education these people so easy to assume im not worth hiring. Again not worth spending your money here. Support a business that employes hard working individual.
This review will stay up as long as I'm alive I want people to see hard-working individuals deserve a chance also these people are telling me to take this down I'm not taking this down I have every right to speak up you know what's not fair somebody like hard-working individuals not being able to find a decent job having somebody like these people that run this business like to keep somebody down I'm being honest I'm being truthful when I went for That interview that's how I was treated and I have every right to speak my mind again life is not fair the owner should get over herself and deal with it
First time here and I do Not Regret it 10 outta 10

Horrendous misuse of apostrophes. Otherwise quite decent. Would be nice to see more plant protein on the menu.

Way too many options on their menu. Page after page of options. But....so far everything I've ordered has been very good. I love their soups. They are very tasty. In the end if you have patience to go through their menu, please do so and try them out because you can't go wrong with what you may choose.

The best sandwiches! Fresh and wholesome. A little hidden gem. This is now our go to.

Dingy, dirty, bad customer service (young male with brown long hair and glasses), and way overpriced. Will not go back to this business again.

The restaurant is so cute - the bee theme is carried throughout. The food is good and they give you large portions. There are lots of healthy and organic options. The staff is very attentive. Lots of breakfast options.

My wife and I had an unfortunate experience where her sandwich had, not one, but two different live bugs in it. (My sandwich was fine.) My wife called the deli right away to let them know and the person on the phone said that the manager would call us back right away. Two days later, after not hearing back, my wife called again to complain and mention that no one called her back. Eventually the manager called, apologized, and promised to mail us a gift certificate to make up for the gross mistake. Several weeks later...crickets. I don't like giving bad reviews to local businesses, but at this point I feel I have an obligation to warn others. (I did take a picture of one of the critters, but choose not to publish that here.) Accidents happen, but if the business promises to make good on the mistake, then it should do so. At this point there is nothing that would get us to come back.

$17 for a cup of bisque soup and "sour dough" which was thought to be a bowl, was just a single, anemic slice of bread. We dropped $50 for two cups of soup and two tiny slices of sour dough. That is literally insane. Its not even a fancy sit down resturaunt and yet we paid outrageous amounts for barely any food.
I will say though, the food *was* good though! I just their prices were not so expensive for so little food.
I'm all for helping local business but come on.
