This place was so dirty and the bathrooms were disgusting. The food was over salted and hard. They also decided to add $11 tip to my bill.

Just hit up Habit Burger & Grill in Whittier, and man, they’re serving up those classic Santa Barbara vibes from ’69! Ordered the Double Burger and BBQ Burger—both were straight fire, with that fresh, chargrilled, smoky flavor that’s pure California. The fries? Hot, crispy, and fresh out the fryer, total perfection. The place itself is super clean, chill, and quiet, with a laid-back vibe that makes you feel right at home. The staff? Crazy friendly, making the whole experience even better. If you’re in Whittier craving a legit burger, Habit’s the move. Highly recommend!

Our burgers had rotten tomatoes, made us all sick. And the avocado tempura were hard unripe avocados. Place should be given an F on quality.

I hadn't been to this restaurant in a while because the quality of the food had gone down. I stopped by today and ordered a chicken sandwich on wheat w teriyaki sauce, fries and a drink. To my surprise, the food was really good! The sandwich was well cooked and had extra chicken sticking out of the bun. I'm glad they went back to their old way of cooking the food.

Normally I don’t have a problem with the Habit, but yesterday I went in and was not only overcharged, but got food poisoning… Noticed the “cooks” weren’t wearing gloves. I ended spending $10 extra, figured it was something I can brush off because the cashier seemed to not be paying attention. Make sure the COOKS WEAR GLOVES and DOUBLE CHECK your order! They like to charge items separately for the smallest addition to your food. If you’re wondering how I can to this conclusion.. I compared my order to the kiosk, filled it out exactly how I told him. $10 cheaper..

I want to love this place, but every time I come to this location there is always something wrong. This last time (Sunday October 20th) I got food poisoning. They aren’t detailed oriented at this location because the other times I’ve ordered from this location, my order has been messed up.

Just wanted to share. I had gone in to redeem two Free Char Burger coupons.i handed the coupons over to the guy with nails, and ordered two Santa Barbara Char burgers , and was about to complete my order when I double checked with my partner if that was all and that's when we decided to ADD and order of fries. Mind you , the two coupons we're already given and I had stated two burgers, one for each, before asking for the fries. We were then given only one burger and the fries and we're told that the coupons covered only that. We would have paid the difference of the fries , after all we bought two drinks right after , but didn't appreciate that they messed up our order and not getting what we specifically asked for.

I'll walk past a dozen In-N-Outs to get to a Habit, your only competition in the fast food burger wars in my opinion are the local independent places and that's a good thing! Good food and something rarer these days, good value for money. The burger is well worth what you pay.
