I always place Tony's Pizza as #1 for Authentic Stlye 🍕! I've even sent New Yorkers here, and they were impressed 👌
If you are just a beer drinker or crushed pepper and hot sauce type, this Pizza Masterpiece will be lost on you. Although they don't serve Tony's original Sicilian Thick Square slices anymore, like in the Mall Days. They have much more variety of slices and Thick Stuffed Slices instead. Or you can opt for the original thin NY Style Slices. And you Artsi Fartsi Artisan types, will love the Spinach and Margarita Pizza Slices and other offerings. But you can't go wrong with the Garlic Knotts, Spaghetti and Meatballs and a Large Pizza! Hopefully they go back to Coca Cola and cut out the Regatone Music!
But with Pizzamania and Stuft Pizza 🙏 🪦 RIP to both of them, and Pizza 21 or Uptown Pizza Co as my 4th and 5th options for Pizza in Whittier. Tony's is real Italian and the others are just thick crust American Style for 🍺 drinking. Joe Peeps isn't bad, more pricey than Tony's on the Pizza.
But Maistro Don Nicco and the gang there, Bada Bing it out of the Park, when they are on their A Game! For taste and quality, they can't be beat! If you just like Crushed Peppers, Beer and Hot Sauce 🔥 🥵 then Little Cesar's is for you. Because you won't know or taste the difference anyway?
But if you can appreciate taste and authenticity, Tony's is your place! Even some of you trendy Panera Fans will be set straight and surprised! Viva Tony's! Gratzi Don Nicco for keeping it going 💯 👌 Chow Pizza Lovers!

I grew up eating Tony’s as a kid and remember when it was in the Whitwood mall. When I moved from CA I was so worried I’d never find a place like them…thankfully I found something identical all the way out in MI….but it will never hold a candle to this place as it holds a significant place in my heart and so many memories of my dads, even a single slice contains all nostalgia and causes the memories to come flooding back.

The hours posted say they open at 11. I was there at 11:05. Only the cooks were there and no cashier. I waited 20 minutes and no cashier showed up. The cooks were nice but don’t have training as cashiers. I wasted my whole lunch waiting for someone to come.

Good pizza, been here a few times. But I'm really displeased that we drove 15 minutes to get here because it said it closed at 8:30 but it actually closed at 8. We arrived at 7:55 but by then they had cleared up. Big waste of our time. Be respectful to your customers and update your online hours. It's seriously not hard to do.

When I walked in not realizing that there was a B on the window they had no ice dr. Pepper was not working and the pi,zza was not like before also under cooked and no fans sorry to vent I'll been coming here for years I could see why it got a B

Have been a repeated customer since I was quite young. It is very saddening to see what has happened to the place. The pizza by the slice looks like it was made the day before. Also hardly any kinds were available. I was in the restaurant once before when the health inspector was laying into them. Then I come many months later to see they still have a B. Have you all working there learned nothing? I really hope they turn it around but at this point I won't be surprised if the next time I pass by it's closed. Poor Tony's memory :(

I ordered the extra large (XL) cheese pizza with my one topping of artichoke. The pizza was great and, with the thinner crust, it made it very easy to eat! I would recommend adding extra cheese to your pizza if you would like your pizza to have a healthy amount of cheese! Check this place out if you are around the area.
My family has been loyal to Tony’s since it was located inside the mall. Unfortunately, over the past few years, we have gradually stopped coming due to declining customer service and cleanliness issues.
The last time I visited (over six months ago), the soda fountain was filthy, and there was no ice — the second time I had experienced that issue.
Today, my husband decided to give it another chance and took several of his coworkers. Sadly, he reported that the restaurant was very warm and noticeably dirty. The cooks were playing loud Mexican music, which felt out of place for an Italian restaurant. The pizza looked like it had been sitting out for hours — it was extremely dry and overcooked. Once again, there was no ice available for the soda fountain, and the machine itself was dirty.
Every one of his coworkers was very disappointed with the experience, and all agreed they would not return.
It’s incredibly disappointing to see a place we once loved decline so much. We won’t be returning.

Uncle Tony must be on vacation in Italy cause this place has gone down hill. Looks like he left the Cooks in charge. It's dirty inside and they played mexican rap music the whole time. Christmas lights scotch trapped to the windows. They didn't have any peperoni pizza made, no lasagna pizza, no buffalo chicken pizza. Though the employee said they normally have it. All in all won't be coming back.
