First time I've been here was back in the early 1990's because I was working for at the time Miller Brands (now known as Classic Brands) I was one of three draft technician with the company and Whittier was my area. I would come every week and clean their beer lines (Miller products only). The decor has changed but the food as always been great. We celebrated my son and daughter-in-law 26th wedding anniversary here with close friends and family.

Really thought this was going to be my go to spot. Good food and drinks but…Second time here and the waitress was sighing huffing and puffing whenever we would ask to order. Yes it was busy due to the Dodger game but you should fake it til you make it or be well staffed for the game. Our drinks were empty for about 30-40 minutes which should not happen. She looked at our table (empty drinks) and rolled her eyes and was like ugh. Went straight to the bar and she wasn’t any better. Not cool at all.

Stopped by on Monday afternoon on our way home. I had never been there before, even though it is fairly close by our house. Has a wide variety of beer & liquor. They have Guinness, which gets a plus from me every time. They serve food, so we ordered the Shredded Beef Quesadilla. It was delicious! Kudos to the chef! (Sorry my photo makes it appear pink, but that was the neon light glow from nearby!) Their prices are very reasonable, and it looks like a comfortable place for locals. Thank you to Carol our bartender!

First and last visit...I walked into a dungeon, with high hopes, the place was so dark till my vision adjusted. Cool atmosphere for a Dive bar aka Tavern. 10 Am on a Sunday and this place was hopping with an older crowd. It was so loud till we walked in, it got suspiciously quiet... Sat at a booth waiting 10 Min before anyone came over to take our order. I clearly saw the 3 Bartenders looking at us talking under their breath on who was going to come over. Something must have been said because customers around the bar area turned to look at us, turned and started to laugh. We chalked it off as maybe they're just having a blast. The waitress with the dark hair pinned up, came over. She was extremely rude.Drinks were ok, decent price though. The food was good, Service was horrible, the vibe was off. Guess they could tell we weren't regulars. The Bartenders were sarcastic and short with us. We said please and thank you, their responses were uh huh. After the third sarcastic remark we left our manners out the door. Our friend has a throat condition and talks at a low tone but you can hear him well. I was 3 people away from him and heard him clearly. The dark hair waitress kept saying huh after every sentence. All our group noticed and stopped to watch his reaction. He was so uncomfortable. The waitress said "speak up, I feel like you're whispering".Finished our food and drinks and left. My hubby tipped well. Undeserving but no matter the circumstance, we'll still be us.
