The total of what I ordered was $56.79. I signed the receipt without noticing that both amounts were different ($59.06). On the third day I realized that they took a TOTAL OF: $61.42 ?

$9 for a subpar bean & cheese is insane. For the price I wasn't expecting it to be so small.

I've made a few pit stops here through the past year and it's always been on point. Their tacos are made with top quality meats. Their birria has been my favorite. And their breakfast burritos have just been top notch for me.

A lot of people in Uptown are sleeping on thos place.
Also feel it's best after a night of fun at the bars in the area.
Definitely worth giving this place a try.
I'll keep coming here.

Had to make a quick pit stop, and I needed something to drink.

I chose their horchata, and it was delicious and refreshing.

The place was really clean and the staff was super nice to me.

Came here for the first time with the family. Everyone ordered different items, quesadilla de asada, torta, nachos, and flautas. Everything was delicious but the flautas aren't really worth it. They were all tortilla and no meat.

We enjoyed the sopes. The menu offers cabeza as a meat option, however, they don’t have any tonight.
We went with chicken and carnitas and both were tasty.

**Review of Uptown Taqueria Wen Chef in Whittier**During my first visit to Uptown Taqueria Wen Chef, I found this taco spot to be a refreshing addition to the Uptown Whittier dining scene. The restaurant boasts a clean environment and a beautifully designed interior, creating a welcoming atmosphere accentuated by the friendliness of the staff. The menu offers a decent variety of choices, and it seems like the quality of the food generally lives up to expectations. Of particular note is the carne asada, which stood out as the best option. It was flavorful and well-prepared, definitely a highlight of the meal. On the flip side, the other meats didn't impress as much, lacking the standout taste of the carne asada. The salsas deserve a mention too—especially the spicy hot red sauce, which really hits the mark for those who appreciate a good kick in their condiments. While I might skip the other meats on a return visit, the carne asada is certainly a draw. For anyone in the area, Uptown Taqueria Wen Chef is worth stopping by, if not for a full meal, then at least to enjoy a taco or two in a nice, cute setting with capable and amiable service.
