I find this establishment to be an excellent choice for Mexican cuisine, as everything on the menu is consistently enjoyable. The service, particularly from Fidel, is commendable, with prompt delivery of salsa and chips upon seating. Today's selection, the chile verde burrito, was truly outstanding, and it could easily satisfy two people. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant for a margarita or beer, along with a delightful and authentic meal, whenever you are in town.

School Mexican with low key Mexican favs. I was disappointed in my carne asada wet burrito. Good size, yummy red sauce with cheese. However
The meat was suspect. Sort of gritty, not fresh and flavorless. No grill feel, not even a flat stove feel but warmed over and stale.

Old school food and service. I ordered a chicken enchilada and chile relleno combination plate. I asked for it with verde sauce. It was sooo good. The chicken was tender and flavorful. The beans and rice were awesome. My husband ordered a chile colorado burrito. The meat was tender and flavorful as well.
The inside was really cute! The AC felt really nice. The vibe was chill. I wish we lived closer.

My wife and I have been having lunch and dinner here for about 30 years now and my kids have been coming here since they were infants. We know almost all the employees and we have a great time every time we go. Great food selection and the Margaritas are the best.

Our first time here, our son and daughter are moving into the area they bought a house 🏠 down the street and asked us to meet them for dinner. I heard the margaritas are great and the food was also delicious. Those two rumors are very true, food was prepared perfectly so we're our margaritas. Restaurant was very clean and everyone in the restaurant were having a great time. My wife and I will be back to try a different meal. Our waiter (I didn't get his name) met our every needs, he was why our visit was so great!

Very delicious and our server Fidel was very attentive with us. Had a great experience. My kids and I loved it. Will definitely be back.

A classic Whittier staple, if you're in the mood for tasty, homey Mexican food served fresh and quickly, this is the place. It's like you're in a friend's kitchen or dining room and their abuela is there worrying you're not getting enough to eat🤣🤣. Great portions and the beans, rice, and salsa have that warm, umami, salty richness you get at home.
