I had a craving for pupusas and found this place through Google Maps-and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the pupusas rancheras, which came with two huge chicharrón pupusas-honestly, the biggest I’ve ever had. They were served with a side of refried black beans, Central American-style sour cream, two sweet banana slices, and a rich red sauce that tied everything together perfectly.
Everything was absolutely delicious, and the service was warm and welcoming. I’m definitely planning to come back and will be recommending this place to my friends and family. Highly recommend!

Anytime we come to the LA area, a stop at El Metapaneco is absolutely mandatory. The food and family atmosphere is top notch. The pupusa's are hands down the best I have ever tasted, and I married into a Salvadorian family! If you like pupusa's, you'll LOVE El Metapaneco!

The food is good and you get decent portions but takes way to long with bad time estamits we got a family order for take out told it would be done in 15-20 min and took over an hour and we only got our food after we complained then we got it 10 min later
