Two words: overpriced & overhyped. Been here once and I saw/ate what I needed to decide I'm never coming back here.

We initially went to the San Pedro branch of this business, on a Sunday. We stood in the long, long line for a little while we searched for plan B. We came across the Wilmington location, called and learned there was no line there. In less than 15 minutes, we were trying to decide what to get. It's easy to confuse the two locations, but I don't see any reason to wait in the huge line, when there's another location with plenty of tables and no wait. On our first visit we tried the shrimp platter and a CYO with red snapper (SPFM vegetables and garlic bread). The spicing on the shrimp and vegetables were okay. It tasted a lot better on the grilled red snapper for some reason. The garlic bread was very tasty. On our second visit, we tried the seafood soup (with shrimp, swordfish, chopped clams, octopus, calamari, and scallops) with vegetables and a foot-long tilapia sandwich. The soup really hit the spot. It was a prepared broth with veggies and fresh seafood is added to the soup when ordered. We got a large to share and it was chock full of seafood. It comes with cilantro, onion, and cabbage and tortillas or garlic bread. The tilapia sandwich was good. The special sauce tasted like a mixture of salsa and mayo, which is yummy. We had leftover soup for dinner. The staff are all super nice, friendly, and convivial. We enjoyed dining here. The meals are a good value and the seafood is fresh. We liked having a range of choices in preparation besides fried. The variety of fish and shellfish is also a plus.

Oscar was our waiter and he was the BEST. Very patient with our crazy group and made a few suggestions for us that was helpful. Food was also very good.

First time coming here ordered a tray. Fish was completely burnt (litterly had the taste of a burnt pan) one of the workers handing the food out was very rude she brought us the wrong order (fries) which we assumed it was ours since we never came here before & we didn’t know exactly what we had ordered so we assumed it was ours & started eating them then 2 mins later she comes back & takes the food from us saying it wasn’t ours ( she didn’t even ask for a receipt or anything to make sure), we didn’t mind paying for the fries but she took the food from us basically right out our mouth then turned around & gave it to the customers in the table behind us after we had already started touching / eating the food (gross how can they hand it over like that).

The fried salmon plate was bomb! And paired with the calamari, it was delicious! Their sweet and chili sauce is savory, too!

This is a funky, but clean plain place with delicious food. The prices are very fair.

Food was delicious and pretty fresh. Got the red snapper tacos with a side of cole slaw which was also very delicious. The cole slaw was fresh and more on the sweet side but that's exactly how I like it!

Their trays are amazing. So fresh and so good. They have a nice outdoor eating area out back, which looked like a ton of fun but we just wanted to take it hike to go this trip. Service was quick, no complaints.

Always say that I am a "seafood" person, I see them, I love them, and I eat them!! San Pedro Fish Market has all you are craving for. FRESH and DELICIOUS. No other words to describe how much I appreciate the food here. The wait time is long but definitely worth it. You are not here for the fast food but the REAL decent quality food. Open and spacious outdoor dining, friendly staffs and neat dining area. Get your hands messy and dig in!!!!

It's a fish market, I don't eat any kind of fish , I had a delicious cheese burger, everyone else in my big group loves the fish market!! I was in San Pedro for a funeral and flew back home to Colorado a day after eating there.

The old place was way better, I was really disappointed with their shrimp tray and the red snapper it was bland no flavor .The shrimp taste like boiled shrimp, the vegetables was over cooked, the fried red snapper taste nasty like an old fish with no flavor the only thing was good is the fries .So Don’t waste your money and go to a nicer restaurant with a better seat and service for the same price
