We ate at this place last weekend. I don’t recommend this place for 3 reasons. First, they have 2 menus, the old one and the most recent one. Make sure you check the prices of the updated menu before you order your food. Second, the prices are too high. Pupusas have 3 different prices, $7 chicken pupusa, $5.50 and $4:50. The hot chocolate is $6. We order 11 pupusas, 2 coffees, 2 hot chocolates, and 2 sodas. In total we paid $92.95. That was insane. Before ordering, we checked the old menu because we thought both menus had the same price, Otherwise. We would have left. The prices are ridiculous. 3 weeks ago, I went to El Salvador. The pupusas there cost $0.50 each. How could this place go from $0.50 to $4.50, $5.50, and $7.00 for pupusa? I know we live in the US and California is an expensive State, plus the inflation. Still, those prices are unacceptable. It is not worthy because the food is not good either. There is better Salvadoran Food Restaurant in LA County. We normally eat at El Zunzal. We went to Estella to try a new place. We regretted it. At el Zunzal, the prices are more reasonable. Most pupusa’s flavor costs $3.69 and they taste very good. When we go there, we normally spend $55 to $6 for the same ordered. El Zunzal is 100% Salvadoran Food whereas Estella’s Restaurant is Salvadoran and Mexican Food. We will not go back to that place anymore.

The food used to be great. Within the last year, the food would be a hit or miss. Just paid almost 25$ for soup that was like salt water with a couple carrots and zucchini in it, the bowl was only half filled, and the side of rice was dry and crunchy. If the rice is old and dry, why serve it. Dissatisfied with my order.

I was looking for a Salvadoran restaurant but I saw the reviews and I better stay away from it if it's expensive and ugly

A bun with chicken but without chicken 13 dollars and it only had pure tomato sauce and mayonnaise... but the chicken?? Where was the price 13 dollars very expensive

A typical breakfast with a sad juice for 26 dollars and two pupusas that were plain tortillas for 10 dollars. Very expensive and very bad

I wanted a real fruit smoothie. They have an incredible menu. The woman who served me was very kind and generous. I ordered a pineapple and orange smoothie, and it was delicious and fresh. I highly recommend it. And they have so much more on their menu.

The pupusas are not good. It’s mainly masa! I got chicharrón con queso and it was basically just masa and cheese. They put very little chicharrón. I suggest trying another place for pupusas.

The waiter discriminates, and chooses who can sing Karaoke. Even though its open to everybody. Would not recomend this place.

To answer the owner. The problem was not with the guy with the music. It was with the waiter, your emplooye. The tall lady that walks funny. She was extremely rude to my Mom. I used to go there and the owner was always nice, but i didn't that lady was such a .............. I see how a lot of people are also not happy with service. You should get people that treat customers right.
