I had heard amazing things about this winery from other locals in Sonoma, but finally decided to check it out for myself! Laura was amazing in helping me select/book our tasting, as they have so many incredible options. We decided to book the ‘soaring’ experience, which included the most delicious, unique, flavorful food and wine pairings. I am truly still dreaming about every food pairing we had, I felt like I was in a Michelin star restaurant. The curry was definitely the star of the show for me, but every single bite/sip we had was truly exceptional.
Allie warmly welcomed us to the winery and made sure to encourage us to enjoy the (STUNNING) grounds both before and after our tasting, while handing us a delicious glass of bubbles to enjoy.
Taryn and Michael were the most personable, knowledgable hosts- we really enjoyed learning about the wines/winery, but also just talking and laughing with them. We never had empty glasses or had to wait for service- they were perfectly attentive while still giving us space to enjoy our experience.
The entire staff was very generous during our visit, including a few extra tastings of their personal favorite wines. I really appreciate that they invite every type of experience you could want- whether that be enjoying a bottle with friends while playing a board game, or treating yourself to a special food and wine pairing experience- all at a very welcoming price.
Thank you Bricoleur for being my new favorite winery!
Very impressed with their product. They have such a beautiful location as well. Highly recommend.
So happy we added Bricoleur Vineyards to our Sonoma itinerary. The property is gorgeous, the tasting room is beautiful, and the food and wine pairing was the best we had on our trip. We even ordered a pizza afterward because we didn’t want to leave! Austin was fantastic and made the experience even better. You can tell the owners and team put so much heart into this place. We’ll definitely be back.
What a gem! This wonderful winery accommodated us and our 3 month old baby on a whim with no reservation. I was so surprised to find out we got an incredible food pairing with our wine too. Everything was truly amazing and our server Anthony made us feel so well cared for. Beautiful grounds too. We are already planning to come back!
We had an amazing time at Bricoleur Vineyards! Came in first thing on a Friday morning at 11 am for a birthday tasting for our group of eight, and everything was perfect. The property is absolutely beautiful, the wine was excellent, and the hospitality from Anthony made the whole experience even better. After our tasting, we enjoyed walking the spacious outdoor grounds and taking in the scenery. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable wine experience and really good wine.
Love this winery! I’ve been a handful of times and we always leave very happy. I’m a member and it’s been wonderful to bring guests. Really great wine, great food, and a beautiful property. And they have sparkling wine! 🫶🏼
Food & wine are SPECTACULAR
I had a wonderful experience at Bricoleur! We did the Rooted Tasting and they were very accommodating to my dietary restrictions of no pork/shellfish, and even better- that didn't make me sacrifice quality at all! The dishes were amazing, my husband said his scallop dish was his favorite thing he ate all trip.
It was all paired very well and we very much enjoyed our wines-- the pinots and the Isla Rose rosé were my favorites.
For anyone who doesn't want to do formal pairings, they also offer delicious pizzas and a bowl of french fries the size of my head. My toddler was in heaven.
The property is massive and stunning-- would be a great place for an event!
10/10 would recommend if you're visiting Healdsburg or Windsor!
We did the Rooted wine pairing on Nov 18, 2024 then the Soaring experience on August 18, 2025. Being a club member, we received discounts for Rooted and complementary Soaring. Rooted is a 6 course wine pairing, available any day but need to book ahead. Soaring is small snack size sampler with wine. Rooted is definitely the way to go. The food is amazing with the service to match. We love the barn atmosphere as well as the outdoor garden. It's one of the better wine pairing in Sonoma region. Love it.
Update: added photos from Oct 2021. I remember how delicious the melon was...
Such a beautiful property and space. Everyone was so friendly. Our Uber driver even noted that this was a great place to pick for our weekend visit. Would definitely recommended!

If a picture could say a thousand words... Absolutely loved both the food and wine. The courses were beautiful, complex , thoughtfully constructed with texture and flavour in mind. Puppy got a special dish as well ❤️❤️. And the wine...how nice to find delicious wine and delicious food, I will come here again and again, and will recommend this as #1 in the area!
This was a winery we waited a year to visit. It was highly recommended last year on our trip to Napa. It was a little bit of a let down. We visited on a day they were short staffed. Not much hospitality from our host who was new. Reviews are so great, so I think we just caught them on a bad day. Would have been nice to hear more about the winery and property. I felt as though they just poured the wine and brought the bites and that was about all. Wines were great and souring was wonderful. Just wished it was a better visit like the other reviews mentioned. 🥲
I would like to amend my review. Very impressed that Taylor reached out to offer an apology. I knew our visit was not the experience that Bricoleur is known for. I will come back next summer when I visit wine country. Thank you Taylor for reaching out to me and mostly the apology.
This place is amazing! We did the Rooted pairing which had 5 courses, 6 wines, and a bonus glass of welcome sparkling. The wine and food pairing was impeccably done, with careful attention paid to the perfect grouping with one elevating the other.
The grounds are stunning and worth walking around with a glass of wine in hand before or after.
Bring your pup!
Love this place! Took me a long time to figure out but learned I LOVE wine from the kickback ranch area. Bricoleur easily has one of the better tasting menus in wine country at a great value for the quality of food and wine. I’d opt for the full tasting menu over the soaring. It’s worth it! We were celebrating two birthdays as well and the staff put a lot of effort to personalize the moment. Truly, great service and attention to detail.
Also, the grounds are lovely and you get free range to sip and roam after the tasting.
You may be asking then, why four stars? I was a wine club member but due to some mixed experiences with the club membership I decided to discontinue. Some highlights of issues I’d encourage Bricoleur to address:
#1 Wine shipment was damaged and the shipping partner sent the wine back to Bricoleur (which was the right thing to do) but even though bricoleur accepted the shipment back I was left in the dark on what was happening. I thought the shipment was lost and had to pursue updates from the carrier to get updated. My opinion: Bricoleur should have reached out to me promptly upon accepting the damaged shipment.
#2 Reserved a soaring experience which is their 3 course tasting menu. Such a different experience than the full tasting. There’s an adorable golden retriever onsite. They decided to visit our table, which was basically a coffee table where we were lounged, and didn’t want to leave. They wedged themself under the table at our feet and it made it hard for our group to relax and focus on the experience. Love dogs but didn’t really want to guard my food and wine from fur and the possible lick.
#3 Several times when ordering wine online there seem to be stock issues or website issues. The website told me a particular wine was out of stock just to find out it was in stock when I emailed the club. The alternative was also true. I’d order a wine to be emailed by the club that it was not in stock. I get it, stuff happens, but when these situations arose (especially the latter) nobody from the club went above and beyond to make up for the poor experience. You can only hear “i’m sorry” so many times before it doesn’t really mean anything.
Bricoleur was our first winery visit in the region, and it was a memorable experience. The staff were very knowledgeable and had answers for all our questions.
The setting and wines were all great. For our first visit, we did the Soaring tasting/pairing and the food was also excellent.
It was nice to walk the property. There is a pond where there is less foot traffic (and a number of swinging benches) and it was so lovely just having a glass of rose and swinging by the pond.
Definitely members of the wine club now and we look forward to heading back (and getting regular wine deliveries)!
