I had a lovely time at the Foppoli estate. The family is very nice and hospitable, and the wine was all delicious. I really enjoyed touring around their home estate (the vineyard is on their home, so as another reviewer noted--- you are a guest in their home as you taste their wines), especially seeing the animals there (cattle, horses, donkeys, mini horses / pony, chicken, great danes, a cat, a duck, etc!). My wife and I were first introduced to Foppoli on a tour a couple years ago and have been club members ever since. The wines are delicious, and my wife and I always get excited when we get the notification email every time a new three-bottle shipment has been released. The only difficulty we've ever had has been with their in-state shipper, who for some reason early in our membership didn't believe that my company's address was a real place. Our experience with and impression of Foppoli Wines diverge from some of the comments in earlier postings. We have found the wine to be consistently enjoyable and worth the price. If low cost and ease of access are a primary concern, there is plenty of Turning Leaf available in the local grocery store.
