I love Tisza! My family has been coming here since they opened and we’ve never had a bad meal. We ate on the back patio recently and it was fabulous! Everything was clean and the wait staff were in masks. If you aren’t sure what to get, try the beef goulash with spatzle, it’s a huge portion and a personal favorite!
We have eaten here several times and now that we are under "shelter-in-place" orders we have availed ourselves of their take-out menu and they continue to excel.
Wonderful Addition to the Windsor restaurant community. They have an awesome list of creative cocktails, worldly cuisine, and great service. The Schnitzel is a must have! We will be back soon!!
This chicken dish was PERFECTION. A combination of different kinds of mushrooms and seasonal veggies.
TISZA is an unexpected find in a most unlikely venue, being located in a Holiday Inn Hotel right off Highway 101 North in the town of Windsor, California. The internationally accomplished chef is Hungarian and serves a few traditional Hungarian entrees among the items on the extensive menu. My friends and I ordered the Hungarian Paprika Goulash and Jagerschnitzel which are both made with pork. Both were outstanding; large portions and delicious. The Roasted Beet salad was another amazing selection both tasty and delicious. Excellent service and the chef comes around to greet diners which is very nice. The downside to TISZA is that in spite of the extensive menu, there is only one vegetarian option; a pasta. The restaurant is contemporary, with minimalist cafeteria like tables and chairs. The worst thing about eating at TISZA is the unbearable noise level if you dine there on an evening when the restaurant is full. The dining room has all hard surfaces and there is no attempt to soften the noise. Because of this I am only rating it 4 stars. TISZA has a great wine list and offers a full bar. Parking on site.
Great atmosphere and superb service. Did was delicious. I want to come back.
Stopped in for lunch and first time meal here. Waiter was efficient and friendly, our lunch arrived in a timely matter. Tasted delicious and looked appealing. Would definitely go back again
Great selection of food, which had a Bavarian style when we visited with spaetzle and schnitzel. Great happy hour menu that I will return for
Very well kept and accessible spot. They offer generous meals and for affordable rates. I enjoyed the menu very much and the staff were super welcoming and informative. I recommend this place.
I’ve been going to Tisza’s since they opened in September of 2017. The atmosphere is like having family over for dinner - so relaxing and enjoyable with people actually talking to one another instead of phones stuck in their faces. The food...there isn’t anything I haven’t enjoyed! It’s so good and flavorful. The presentation is always eye catching and the flavors are amazing. It’s my favorite place to eat! ❤️

You really have to go there, food IS the best.
My wife and I had an excellent "free with room" buffet breakfast; which otherwise would cost $16. Seven of us had lunch here the same day; excellent menu choices with average to very good food.
Must eat here, we call this place tiz a Restaurant it’s upscale and great for celebrations like Anniversary’s , Birthdays special occasions. The menu changes depending on what the master chef wants to prepare they have special dinners like on Valentine’s Day check it out. Enjoy this lovely Town of Windsor bistro.
Authentic hospitality and well-trained staff deliver a great meal experience! Fresh ingredients, attention to detail, and generous portions add up to delicious culinary options. Highly recommended.
One of my two favorite restaurants in Sonoma County. It's hard to believe how great this place is being inside of a Holiday Inn!
