If you’re craving authentic Filipino food that feels like home, Bacolod Chick’n Inasal in Winnetka is the place to be! The food here is absolutely delicious and brings the true flavors of Bacolod to Los Angeles. Their specialty, chicken inasal, is perfectly marinated and grilled, bursting with flavor in every bite.

But it doesn’t stop there—every dish on their menu is amazing. I highly recommend trying the bangus steak, batchoy, and pork belly. Each dish is prepared with care and tastes just like the ones you’d find back home.

The staff and owners are exceptionally friendly, warm, and welcoming, treating every customer like family. On our last visit, they even let us sample their buco pie, which isn’t on the menu yet, and it was heavenly!

Bacolod Chick’n Inasal is not just a restaurant—it’s a place where you can enjoy great food, genuine hospitality, and the comforting flavors of the Philippines. I hope more Filipinos discover this gem and help make it a huge success. It’s truly a must-visit spot for anyone who loves Filipino cuisine!

Bacolod Chick’n Inasal delivers an exceptional Filipino dining experience with a perfect balance of flavor, texture, and comfort.
The star of the menu—the chicken inasal (“PechoPak” or “Paak”)—is juicy, tender, and packed with flavor, perfectly complemented by the sweet and tangy atchara and rich garlic rice.
For dessert, the pandan roll strikes a delightful balance between traditional pudding texture and a cinnamon roll's comforting sweetness, with the vanilla ice cream adding a satisfying touch.

The service is top-notch, with attentive and professional staff who enhance the overall experience. While the modern decor is comfortable and clean, it lacks the elevated aesthetic of high-end dining. However, this minor detail does not detract from the restaurant’s charm or its overall 5-star rating.

For a satisfying and authentic taste of Filipino cuisine, Bacolod Chick’n Inasal is a must-visit.

We tried their pecho ala carte and bbq on the stick, I was very satisfied and happy, cause finally there is a Pinoy Bbq that suits our taste. The way they marinated and grilled was perfect. It was very delicious, tasty and meat was not hard but soft and juicy. I will definitely come back. I would like to try their Batchoy and Siopao next time together with their bbq chix n on the stick as a repeat. They cook it once you order, so you will taste that it is freshly cooked. If you are in a hurry, better pre order.

Ordered Chicken a La Carte and the Pork BBQ sticks to go. I was impressed by both. The sticks were tender with great flavor, not rock hard and overly sweet like many I’ve had at other places. The chicken was wonderful. Moist and falling off the bone with that flavor profile that screams of authenticity. Both items were made fresh to order, so I was happy to wait 15 minutes for them to prepare it. While waiting I noticed that the restaurant itself was comfortable and cool (it’s 100 degrees today) and the big screen had the Olympics on. Cool. Will be back for sure.

Bbq Chicken is bland without the soy sauce, vinegar, calamansi. It does not taste barbeque, it tastes more like air fry. Chicken is suppose to be juicy, not dry. The batchoy was satisfactory, needs more flavor. Overall it was ok. Will I spend 100$ for 5 again here? nope.

We are visiting Winnetka from Alberta Canada, and decided to try this place after seeing the colorful logo from the street. The dishes were amazing, especially the Bangus and the order of Pecho was grilled to perfection. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and ensured we had everything we need. Highly recommend if you are looking for some authentic Filipino cuisine.

This establishment is located in a small strip mall with very limited parking. The strip mall businesses reserve parking spots for their own customers. I had to park on the street on Sherman Way in front of houses. Service was a tad slow (even though they didn't look too busy with not too many people inside). It took ~30 minutes to get a to-go chicken breast and chicken wing inasal plate, an order of batchoy and 2 siopaos. The inasal sauce given was very little. We only got 1 small inasal sauce container and it wasn't even half full. It was definitely not enough for the chicken ordered. I had to make my own additional inasal sauce (soy sauce, vinegar and calamansi) at home! :D The batchoy was good. Lots of liver but it would've been better with a bit more chicharon. Siopao was ok but would've been nice if they had bola-bola siopao too. Only available siopao is pork or chicken.

Parking: Watch where you park! Some parking spots are reserved by other businesses in the strip mall.
