It was delicious the hot dog had a snap and the chili was wonderful I enjoyed the dulcid sounds of traffic on Vanowen Boulevard but I like their Charming little patio with a mural based on a picture of the owners sometime ago. recommended

According to other customers, this place have been here since the 1970's or maybe even before that. I tried their hot dogs and damn it was as good as others say they were!
The place looks historical as well. I can compaee this spot at Pink's hot dogs in Beverly Hills. They're about the samw quality.

I've eaten here for the first time, out of curiosity. I've always seen people buying/ordering/eating here.
I'm not really a hot dog eater. Only once in a while, I'll get a corn dog.
BUT,... This place was impressive! I ordered this Chicago hot dog with bright green relish, 3 pickled peppers.. cheese sauce on it.. It was SURPRISINGLY GOOD!!
The cook's name was; Torn! (I even made sure by spelling it and he confirmed! 😁), was about to close this place when I got there, but he was kind enough to accommodate me, the first timer and another guy who wanted to buy a lot of hot dogs, but he only had 4 left!
Torn was patience enough and answered my question in a friendly & chill manner. He didn't sound annoyed (due to closing time).

I'm going to stop by again soon. Also recommending this place to those who are as curious and adventurous eater like me!
Pretty good sized parking lot at the back & street parking.
They have small tables and benches for people to enjoy their meals there.

Very mediocre. I got the ruben dog. sauerkraut was tart and the dog had a nice snap but I was thrown off by the addition of shredded cheddar cheese. I also got a cup of chili which was bland and had the texture of thick baby food. Overall all not the food wasn't bad but for how much you pay its not really worth it in my opinion.
