Just like all the others little skimpy on the the rice and beans
Nice easy going staff, good food, self service fountain drinks, clean bathrooms.

I love El Pollo loco, but this place, while the closest to my house, is the worst of them. The chicken in frequently dry, often to the point of being desiccated and not terribly hot. The tortillas are often stale and frequently barely warm. On the plus side the workers are good and the dining room is cleaner than average for an epl (which is a terribly low bar). I typically go to one far further from my house to get hotter, moister chicken and fresher tortillas.

Go somewhere else
there are definitely better options.
The salsas (especially the green one) are super watered down( literally), and the customer service is consistently poor. The food is just okay, but most of the time it arrives cold. Overall, not worth
They Usually get my order right, but the driveway didn't get it right. I had to go back for an item that was missed & I asked for extra cheese & got NONE.

I still remember the first El Pollo Loco I went to over forty years ago. It was the original store in
midtown Los Angeles on Alvarado Street.. it was basically a hole in the wall with real waitresses. Of course the place was always crowded, so we took our food to go. Funny thing is it always felt like a pleasant surprise when you got home, because every order was Taylored by you for you.No charge for extra green sauce or pico de gallo. Pancho would come out in the small eating area and mix with his customers. Hek knew us regular by name or sight. A lot of people from the art community were loyal customers, like Ed Corillo, Leslie Biller, Louie Lunetta, Gary Williams (myself) and others. The food was exceptional then. Those herbs and spice were on point, and yes, the small containers òf avocado sauce, pico de gallo, and cilantro and radishes were AYCE, and free. Sigh, still pinning for the good old days. The pinto beans were delicious. Much more tasty than the bland, tasteless beans they serve now. Oh well, I've said my piece. Thanks for allowing me to. VIVA EL POLLO LOCO!!!

Today I ordered food at that place and the experience was terrible! Everything was very dirty. The bathroom very dirty, the floor in the dining area had a puddle of water that everyone was stepping on as they came in. One of the chairs had a hole in the middle where you supuse to seat and on some tables, the people who had eaten left their trash, and not a single employee bothered to clean it up. I will never go back to that place again.

Fantastic customer service tonight. I placed a late-night online order and the staff was attentive and efficient. Everything was fresh, hot, and perfectly accurate. They had my order ready right on time and packed with care. Grateful to have found a location I can count on from now on.

I'm still getting used to ordering from the computer vs talking with a cashier. I guess it eliminates getting any mistakes on your order when you submitting the order yourself. Food came out hot, all my sides where prepackaged and ready to go. Nice workers and there wifi is pretty strong too. 👍

I came in to grab a drink with my co workers on our lunch break and i ordered on the self served machine and then I kindly asked the worker named carman and older lady if i could have to restroom code and she proceeded to make rude remarks do to our work clothes , saying we pretended to order just to use the restroom because of the clothes we were wearing . This was extremely rude and inappropriate for an employee of such a large corporation . As a customer it is really unpleasant to encounter theee situations on your meal break

I stopped by today just to get some drinks for my employees and they asked to use the restroom (for the code) but the cashier named Carmen probably did not see me ordering for them and as i was waiting with the receipt she started mouthing off to another customer saying “son unos mentirosos siempre pretendiendo comprar y solo quieren usar el baño…”
I’ve came to this location maybe like 4-5 times throughout the year and never just to use the restroom without purchase.
Its extremely rude and unprofessional to mouth off about other customers loudly just because she thought they walked away and could not hear her anymore. Specially when she had her facts wrong. After I confronted her that i had paid for their drinks with the receipt and informed her manager in front of her she didn’t know what to do. The manager said she’d talk to her but unfortunately I am unsure weather she did.
I understand its a fast food restaurant so i dont expect good service but this behavior of mouthing off should not be okay.
