Stellar service: generous, genuine, kind!
The avocado toast was super yummy, filling and colorful. I enjoyed a hot oat milk latte,
and I hear “the Jesse” is superb!

Im normally really happy with the service and how the drinks taste. But today I ordered my usual, the lavender honey latte with almond milk, and I asked them to make it with one decaf shot and half sweet. I only took one sip and it tasted even sweeter than the regular version and I couldn't drink it.
Maybe it was just a fluke this time around, but yeah I couldn't enjoy my drink.

The best coffee shop in the valley! Jesse has created a beautiful community space with great drinks and a very welcoming atmosphere. I've visited both locations and tried both the coffee and matcha and loved it all. Highly recommend!

i went for the first time today & ordered a matcha & bagel. the bagel was good, but honestly the matcha was quite bland. it didn’t taste like matcha at all - it was more like green food colored milk if that makes sense. all you could taste was milk. quite disappointing as i was looking forward to the matcha since i had been told it was good

My drink ended up being a bit more bitter than i wanted, so i asked if i could get a little extra sweetener on the side, they charged me extra for more syrup. I have never ever been to a coffee shop where they wont fix you drink if you dont like it. I understand if i wanted an entirely new drink. But, a sepreate charge for extra milk or syrup when your drink isnt right, is not a standard in the coffee industry.

Great coffee and food however not a good place to study at with the constant screaming by one of the staff members. I don’t mind a busy loud environment but the screaming is too much.

Was in the area, needed breakfast. Luckily this place was around the corner! DELICIOUS coffee! And that's coming from an ex Barista of 12 years). Was so pleased to see warm breakfast options on a cold rainy morning. Had the bacon egg everything bagel with cream cheese. Even my partner who doesn't normally enjoy breakfast ate half my sandwich. Cute interior though we didnt eat in. Try the Abelita's chocolate pumpkin coffee warm! 10/10!

My only complaint is that, they do take awhile to have your order ready. Anywhere from 15mins. to 25mins. Even if all you’re getting is one drink. Very tasty though. Reason why I keep going back lol

Before they had designated cups for iced drinks. The past two times I’ve gone they give you an iced coffee in a smaller cup which clearly states “careful contents are hot”. You pay almost 8 dollars for a drink in to get a smaller cup that is meant for hot drinks. I did a mobile order and the website said ready within 15 minutes prior to ordering. Once order was placed it was 45 minutes out. I was there already and asked if it could be ready a little earlier, they said no they can only go by the sticker time and they wouldn’t cancel my order, customer service has gone down a lot in the past few months. The lemonade was 4 dollars and it was a tiny cup, it was supposed to be strawberry lemonade but it didn’t taste like strawberries at all.

This was my first time visiting this cafe, as my friend who lives in Winnetka recommended it after hearing positive reviews. The coffee itself was great! Although, I had a hard time enjoying the turkey sandwich that I ordered. For 9 bucks, I feel as though the sandwich was lacking, especially as the avocado was not distributed evenly and ended up falling out after my first bite. Maybe next time, I’ll get the egg bagel. But overall vibe was nice and the employees were friendly.

Today was my second visit at Jesse’s. 3 stars because the drinks are reasonably priced. I wish they didn’t use Monin syrup flavors & took the time to curate their own syrups. Matcha had no aromatic body. The cold brew was acidic and bitter. They need to work on their expo/cook time. I received my food before my drinks, which meant my food was cold. It took 15 minutes for 2 drinks. Normally you want to enjoy food & drinks together. The customer line was a mess. The staff was hauling a barrel of trash next to the line out to the front door. Food was underwhelming & over priced.
