Putah Creek Cafe Reviews
This place is delicious and cozy. The food is amazing and the staff is too. We like to hit this place on the weekend and it’s always a good sign that there is a wait. Nice to have breakfast or lunch and then stroll the streets of Winters. Many great spots like the Cafe. Buckhorns for dinner is always a great way to finish a day in Winters.
We had the best Burger and pizza today! Absolutely Delicious. 😍

Putah Creek Cafe in Winters is a longtime favorite, offering an incredible menu of delicious foods, desserts, and beverages. The cozy ambiance of the cafe, with its red brick farmhouse style and indoor/outdoor seating, adds to the overall dining experience. Visitors praise the Crab Sandwich as being sweet, fresh, and free of fishiness, while the Caesar salad and Bloody Mary are also recommended. The restaurant provides a great environment for a family brunch, with servers who are always happy and ready to help. Customers appreciate the customization options available, such as adding fried chicken to their favorite eggs Benedict.
The food is always fresh and seasonal, and the service is quick. The cafe is a go-to choice for those looking for a relaxing Sunday brunch spot or a place to celebrate special occasions, as they accommodate large groups. While the menu could benefit from more vegetarian and vegan options, the overall dining experience at Putah Creek Cafe is consistently satisfying. Visitors enjoy the breakfast offerings, including biscuits and gravy, pancakes, bacon, ranch potatoes, and chorizo and eggs, which are all well-prepared and flavorful. The cafe also sells large, tasty pies and cookies. However, on busy weekends, wait times for a table can be over 35 minutes, with limited seating for waiting. Despite this, once seated, service is efficient, and the quality of food makes the wait worthwhile. Some customers have noted that the pizza and breakfast items are sometimes inconsistent, with issues like uneven cooking or greasy dishes, but overall, the cafe remains a popular spot for good food and a welcoming atmosphere.
