Cool little Bar. They have many activities throughout the week. I've only been here twice, but every time, there's been a nice crowd of people. The bar is clean and warm on cold days.

We came out for Kernville Kampout and passed Kern River Tavern a few times. It's only about a year old but definitely has the neighborhood charm of a decades-long watering hole. We were lucky to make it for Bingo (Sundays at 4pm)! $1 per game, per card. We got smoked by the local crowd ‍. We stayed across the street from the kern river tavern, and as soon as we walked in, we were welcomed. The bartender Lala might be the best bartender I’ve ever had. Friendly, kind and knowledgeable. 1 month later, we came back just to see her and she remembered us. She is a gemstone around a bunch of boulders.
