We've had great meals at the old location in Koreatown, but this one left us a little underwhelmed. Nice outdoor patio, friendly (but very slow) service. An item of ours was forgotten: we told the food runner, who never returned. Then we told another employee, who got our server, who then asked us what we were missing. Food was fine, but we didn't love anything. Specifically, the grilled oysters hit the table lukewarm.

EMC is easily my favorite raw bar in LA. Its outdoor setting makes it perfect for warm days, providing a delightful open-air environment to indulge in their fantastic seafood offerings. I particularly enjoy watching the skilled chefs shuck fresh oysters right in front of you. With an extensive selection of oysters, their $2 happy hour deal on chef's choice oysters is unbeatable in terms of both value and quality. Personally, I can't get enough of the kumamoto oysters--they're absolutely delicious. While the shrimp tacos didn't quite meet the high standards we have for tacos in LA, it's worth noting that this isn't their specialty. Alongside oysters and shrimp tacos, I've also sampled their garlic noodles, and seafood fried rice, all of which were excellent in terms of quality. The attentive service and comfortable noise levels make for a pleasant dining experience overall. If you're an oyster and raw bar enthusiast looking for a great spot for a date night, EMC is the place to be.

Much of the food is prepared at wokano so servers are back and forth a lot. You can also use the restroom at wokano if you need to. That being said, this place has gone downhill over the last couple years. The food is fine but a tad expensive for the portion sizes. The service used to be great but has gotten terrible the last three times I've been there, takes forever to be waited on even if you are sitting at the bar. They seem understaffed but it's usually pretty empty. This used to be my go-to because I loved being outside and the vibe but now I'm just going to stop going. Too bad because this could be a great place.

Great ambiance. I tried the seafood tower which was reasonably priced. It was not a busy day so the service staff was very attentive and friendly. A good place to sit and unwind after doing some shopping.

Moderately priced, friendly quick service, yummy food, and very dog friendly. I was super appreciative that when our server brought our drinks he even brought a little container over for my pup filled with water.
