Our server was EXCELLENT, Lara, we loved her. Food was delicious, we had the brussels sprouts the beet Caprese salad, Margherita pizza and lemon chicken. Everything was delicious & service was impeccable.
We've been to HOM several times. We know it's very loud but did get a bit quieter table by the window. Our friends had never been there. Since it was our suggestion we felt embarrassed that the service was so poor. We had to ask the waitress and busboys FIVE times to bring us two cups of ice for our water which was warm. One person order sangria which we had to keep asking for. It took at least a half hour. The waitress only asked how the food was when we flagged her...
Very good food and experience. Nice that HOM has a full bar, while many Italian restaurants only have wine and beer. Name of the place is somewhat misleading. None of the four of us had meatballs, but the caesar salad, eggplant, fish and pasta were great. My husband had shrimp and clams linguine and he loved it.
