Kabuki Japanese Restaurant is fantastic! The sushi here is absolutely incredible – always fresh and delicious. The bluefin toro, salmon, and albacore sushi are especially outstanding! The quality of the fish is top-notch, and each piece is expertly prepared. I highly recommend this sushi bar for anyone looking for an authentic and memorable dining experience. Can’t wait to go back!

First time I have been back since they reopened. Everything seems to have been upgraded a knotch. Especially sushi offering. Lots of premium specials. Everything is ultra fresh.Same great happy hour as well. One issue is beer needs to be colder. I'll be coming back here much more often!

Good food and hard to beat the happy hour pricing. They just don't validate parking at the HHLA location.

Not sure what is going on with some of the sushi joints up and down Ventura Blvd? I stopped by here immediately after my experience with Something's Fishy. This is another restaurant that used to be very good but went downhill. Kabuki has turned into a sushi themed Denny's / Chuck E. Cheese. I walked in to kids rolling all over the ground and jumping into other peoples booths while employees looked and mocked instead of handling the situation. The menus were so stuck together it was almost impossible to separate them. The sushi looked like it had been prepared by a clumsy giant. The rolls were huge and not in an appetizing good way. I thought I was eating at a mid west all you can eat buffet. It was disgusting. The girl mixing drinks was using the same straw she was tasting the drinks to mix them. This is not an exaggeration. Although, I wish it was. Another valley staple I will never return to.

I forgot to write a review after we stopped in for lunch. Got there as they opened mid week. No crowds and quick service. We always enjoy the food. This time was no exception. Wife had beef wrapped Asparagus. I had one of the special sushi creations. I apologize that I don't have the names of the dishes. I do recommend trying them. Flavorful food.
