Main Chick Hot Chicken

Was looking to try Dave’s Hot Chicken, ended up here. Pleasantly surprised. Lots of people getting takeout. Most tables were taken as well. My son and I both tried the sandwich and a chicken tender. Came with fries, which were quite crunchy and tasty. Fountain sodas were on offer with the coca-cola line.

Checked out the bathroom and it was quite clean with ample soap and paper towels. The toilet seat was a little loose and weathered. Also had a urinal for my convenience.

I’d definitely go back. At the least it’s a nice break from Popeyes. At the most, it’s great for a spicy fried chicken lunch or takeout. The price is comparable to Popeyes but it’s more unique.

We come here from time to time the food is very tasty and the menu is pretty basic in regards to what they offer but overall the food is good and usually you can find the right amount of food for your budget overall one of the better places to stop for a quick bite in the area

I usually enjoy Main Chicken and often order from the combo menu, but today I tried another item and was very disappointed. It had hair in it (unplucked chicken), which was extremely off-putting and unhygienic. I hope the restaurant improves food quality.

This place is trash..I knew when I walked in I didn't smell the chicken and that's a tell sign for me..It didn't smell like a chicken restaurant and the batter/seasoning wasn't good at all..You better off going to Popeyes Chicken. Yes, it had spice but no flavor.. I had to wash off all the seasoning and add my own flavor.. Money down the drain..👎🏾You tell me what you think..Try it and let me know your thoughts..

I was excited to try out this place. Chicken was ok. Didn't like how it was presented in a used like box.

Very good food

Everything from the Staff to the food was an absolute disaster. As soon as I walked in guy on the register hating life gave me attitude, couldn’t even make a phone call with the loud music coming from the kitchen and once I received my order as soon as I took a bite it was nothing but breading, literally no chicken I couldn’t even muster the energy to scarf it down, thought I give the fries a try with the buttermilk ranch and MC sauce both terribly disgusting. The sauces had a very strange after taste to them that made me wanna vomit. I ended up throwing away the pathetic excuse of a meal in the trash. Literally one of the worst hot chicken chains in CA I should have just ordered ahead and picked up my food from Howlin Rays I was coming from LA anyways. Needless to say I will never buy food from this or any MC restaurant ever again.

We had an excellent dinner at Main Chick Hot Chicken! It was our first time here and we didn't know what to expect. The food was so delicious, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was amazing! We watched in awe as Zion took care of a rush of customers, cleaned and restocked the area, and ensured everything was running smoothly. We highly recommend this restaurant! They go above and beyond.

We enjoy the food at Main Chick, but our last pick-up order was disappointing.

They forgot our ube cheesecake in our takeaway bag. We raised a ticket/message via the website, which was received and acknowledge, but we were never refunded. I know it's not a lot, but we still expect to get something if we paid for it.

First and last timer.
The chicken is only seasoned with a chili powder and it seems like nothing else. It’s overpowering and tasteless at the same time. Neat trick.
The combos come with no drink for $18.
Service is sub par. No greeting, no thank you and they want a suggested 20% tip added?! 🤡
This is certainly no Dave’s hot Chicken, I’ll tell you that!!

Unless you want severe food poisoning and getting hemorrhoids I wouldn’t suggest you go to this place, even if you hear the food is good don’t do it, horrible, horrible horrible.

I used to like Main Chick better than Dave's. Now, the portions are smaller, and the food quality has decreased. The spice levels are inaccurate. The medium was reaper hot, so fiery that it was inedible.
