Amazing gluten free bagels! Their products are by far the best GF in the area. As a parent of a child with Celiac’s Disease it is sigh of relief to not only find a 100% gluten free establishment, but a bakery where EVERY single item is delicious!Dietary restrictions: Great for people with Celiac Disease.

I came here on Saturday, 3/23 around 9 am and I am beyond impressed that everything is gluten-free!!!From cupcakes to parmesan rolls completely gluten-free!The service was outstanding from the cashier to the lady packing the bagels and bringing the salmon over and packing it for me.Not sure how this place doesn't have 5 stars!

We came here once they opened in 2022, and it was a good experience. However, during a recent visit, everything was awfully mediocre. Nothing special. The Superseeds bagels were not as soft or fresh as before. The everything bagel was better, but honestly, nothing special. You can skip here if you're looking for a bagel or a nice breakfast. The cherry on top is their staff. They really need to do something about that. The cashier and our server both had attitudes and were a bit impatient and aggressive.I do not recommend this branch.

So, I made a pit stop at Modern Bakery on my way back from LA to satisfy my bagel craving, and let’s just say it was a bit of a mixed bag.Located in the Westerfield shopping center, parking was a bit of a hassle, but I pushed through in the hopes of a delicious bagel experience. Stepping inside, I was greeted by a tempting display of baked treats – from chocolate chip cookies to cinnamon buns, they had it all. The bagel display on the back wall caught my eye, and I was eager to dive in.The staff was friendly and knowledgeable as I placed my order for a plain bagel with cream cheese, tomatoes, and lox. However, I was a bit disappointed when my bagel arrived untoasted – it wasn’t suggested, nor did I think to ask. Nevertheless, the bagel itself was fantastic – flavorful and with a satisfying depth. The generous amount of cream cheese, lox, and tomatoes made it a hearty and enjoyable meal.Moving on to the seating area, it had a cozy vibe with wood tones that added to the ambiance. However, I couldn’t help but notice the dirty floor – crumbs from the day before were visible and felt underfoot, which was a bit off-putting. It definitely needed a good sweep and clean-up.Service-wise, I found it to be on the slower side, especially considering I was the only customer there. It took longer than expected to get a bagel, which was a bit frustrating.Overall, while the bagel itself was delicious, the cleanliness of the establishment and the slower service left me feeling hesitant to return. Here’s hoping for a cleaner and faster experience next time!

I absolutely love this place. I am really glad they are here and usually get great service from the amazing people that work there. This Sunday was an exception to the rule…. We were really exited to visit, especially since we drive 1.5 hours just for the amazing breakfast burritos… worth every penny btw…. In any case, we walked through the door and the person working the front desk (pretty, short, Asian woman with a ponytail and a purple shirt) glared at us and was really rude taking our order. She seemed as if she was bothered by our presence, rushed us through ordering, and not friendly or helpful like the others walking around in the restaurant. It was 11 something in the morning and not too busy, so I was kind of taken back…. Furthermore, when I got home, one of my focaccia breads was missing from my order (I should have checked before we left). The rest of our experience was amazing as usual… food was great and all the other employees were great…. The missing item on top of the rude worker was just something I feel uncomfortable about and a little bummed. I don’t want to be a Karen and I know people have bad days….. will we come back? Yes, because the quality of food is unmatched to any other gf bakery I have been to…. But if we encounter her again and she’s rude again that will impact my decision.

I came here to just look at what this place had to offer. In all honesty, I'm just a sucker for funfetti cupcakes and was thrilled to see they had one. It looked delicious and homemade. I saw that it was essentially a healthier version of a funfetti cupcake, but it looked and still sounded really good so I had to try it.Usually I can taste when something is made differently and healthier right away. This was no different, and I didn't mind that until I had my second bite. The texture was noticeably weird (it's gluten free, but not all gluten free baked good have weird textures). That part is fine, but the odd part is that the frosting was a little salty?? I understand the use of salt on baked goods, but the taste of salt did not go well with the cupcake whatsoever. A healthy cupcake that doesnt taste good for almost six dollars is what I call a steal. I'm giving it two stars because the concept itself is nice and the other baked goods looked delicious, this cupcake was just not good at all. I'm going to give this place the benefit of the doubt and maybe try it some other time. However, I do recommend that the people making the baked good at least taste their own items!! I'm just baffled over why or how the frosting tasted salty.

My favorite gluten free bakery in LA and NYC! I love their bagels, their babka, cinnamon rolls... I could go on. I have fed their bagels to non gluten free people and they have been impressed. The service is always fantastic and everyone that works there is kind, patient, and super helpful. Plus they have monthly flavors and specials which are super fun!

The vegan bacon was really good! Paired with the Parmesan bread and eggs and cheese- amazing! Honestly- I would go back just to have the bread again, it was perfectly toasted and buttery and complimented the sandwich well. The service was good, the cashier was helpful with answering questions. There was a long line, so she was rushed a little - which made sense. I didn't stay to eat, but there is one really long table right in front of the line and a few small tables in the back. I saw a few folks sitting and working; it's nice to have a spot like that. The ONLY reason I am giving it 4 stars is because of the prices and menu. Both super confusing! I think the pricing for the pastries made sense ~$5-6. The sandwiches and bagel though, so confusing to price out off the menu and it was just more than I expected. Even though my picture makes my sandwich look big, it was on the smaller side.

This place is amazing. You would have no idea it's gluten free. Also the only place to get east coast bagels on the west coast. It's kosher too. Can't say enough good things
