Bring patience. From parking to waiting for a table to waiting for the food. The wait is worth it. Good food. Servers are attentive and sweet.

After reading Google Reviews, this place was on our list for breakfast while visiting Calabasas. It's really an old diner with good old fashioned breakfast. Service was really good, breakfast was great and selection on the menu was awesome. While we got lucky finding a parking spot on a busy Sunday morning, I can see where that could be an issue.

The food and presentation is excellent. The service is hit -n -miss. Everything from host acknowledgedment to server attitudes. I've been going to Nats ever since the early 2000's in Van Nuys. This is the only location that I've experienced spotty service.

While visiting Woodland Hills, I googled a breakfast spot that looked pretty good and Nat’s didn’t disappoint. The parking was a little tricky as you had to back in off of Main Street, but they do have parking in the back which I would’ve chosen if I would’ve known ahead of time. I got this special sausage plate with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and maple turkey links, which were pretty good. My wife got the basic breakfast plate with regular sausage which was OK but a little salty. Would recommend because they have a lot of choices to choose from. Satisfied.

My husband and I stopped in to pick up a coffee. My husband and I stopped in to pick up a coffee. My husband has a certified service animal for a serious medical disability. we weren’t even sitting down. We were standing by the entrance, waiting to order coffee to go. The manager came to us and said that they do not allow dogs. We told her that first it is a service animal and second we are just ordering to go. Then she asked “what is the service for”. As an attorney, retrospectively, I understand that what she may have meant was what service does the dog provide. However, asking what the service is for is request for disclosure of the disability. I responded to her and said you are not allowed to ask that, but I will tell you. My husband and I answered at the same time with the name of his disability. Instead of responding and telling us ok, no problem or apologies for asking this question and noted that we’re not supposed to ask it, she proceeded to get in a fight with me about whether or not she was able to ask for disclosure of the disability. She subsequently backtracked and said that her question was “what service does the dog provide”, which I agree would have been a permissible inquiry. But there is a reason my husband and I responded simultaneously with the name of his disability. It’s because the question was “what is the service for”. All is fine, but would appreciate an apology and I highly suggest that the manager, who I understand his name to Marissa should receive additional training. Luckily we’re not embarrassed by the disability but I have family members who have the same one and do not like disclosing it and this same situation could have caused them a lot of stress and embarrassment.
