I have not been to this restaurant for a while since I had moved away but am here visiting family all the time and always go on to read reviews to see if places are still worth going to…
The reviews state mostky that the staff are not kind and that they are dismissive as well as the chef begrudgingly preparing their sushi orders and vibing them out before they are ready..
Too bad and sad to see this…
What is REALLY telling about whether a restaurant cares or not is when the manager/owner actually replies to a reasonable negative experience.
I saw zero replies on here from management addressing patrons valid complaints as they’ve posted their bad experiences on here. That alone tells me don’t bother going to this place.

Kinda sad I have to give this low rating but I have to be honest service was bad, specifically the waitress ALI or ANE something like that, probably one of the worst which ruined the whole vibe.
Kept passing us never checked if we needed any refill or anything, she kept helping another party not sure if they had already complained prior so maybe that’s why she was over compensating but anyway having to flag her down to order was one thing but her demeanor was another made us feel like we were bothering lol.
Even when it kinda cleared out! She never checked on us.
When we finally got her attention the last time to try to put an order in she said the kitchen was closed, she never gave us a heads up or asked for last call orders. It was uncomfortable, the only time she smiled was when we were heading out the door because the owners were there saying bye too. The sushi was good, I can’t complain about the food. Just her is enough not to come back.

Went here for the first time hoping to enjoy good sushi. We were just getting started with our appetizers when I noticed a roach under one of the wooden displays. Another one came out and started crawling towards and over the napkins. Absolutely disgusting! I informed one of the ladies working there and we were asked to be seated somewhere else. She started cleaning and that’s when I saw another cockroach. Noped our way out of there 🤮

Every single time , its been an absolute pleasure to eat here, food, service , quality is amazing. Definitely recommend this place . I've been coming back for years.

In my humble opinion this this restaurant is light and healthy. The restaurant staff is incredibly responsive and nice. One fine day I needed to eat with my son and we stumbled across this restaurant. Don’t judge a book by its cover. It’s right off Ventura Boulevard might not aesthetically look like a restaurant of high caliber, but it is. The restaurant serves the best all you can eat sushi experience I have had in a long time. If you’re in the neighborhood, please make sure you stop by grab some sushi. Tell him I sent you and they’ll charge you 10% more.

They have that phony all you can eat for 40$ which is a joke have to eat all the rice or they penalize you 2 $ each roll .
Plus you have 1 hour you know they Will slow you down to beat you. So I ordered 7 PC salmon sashimi mussels and a caterpillar roll. The salmon was a mouse size tiny portion and very wet .nothing special the mussels were mediocre. The caterpillar roll was the nastiest tasting roll I've ever had all that for 48 $ barely anything. Needless to say I'm never going back
