Come here for Taco Tuesday!!! Fine variety of tacos for both vegans and meat eaters alike! Tacos are $2.25 a pop and are full of mouthwatering flavor. I've tried the jackfruit, mushroom, and cauliflower and all are good. Accompanying margaritas were all a hit. Also, do yourself a favor and order the guac! Trejo's Cantina does it right! I waited a few days to write this review as I knew I did not like it but was not exactly sure why. Most of it had to do with the design of the restaurant. It's cold looking. Not welcoming. Lots of space is not used or not used well. Harsh lighting and the color and textures used were not right. There are empty glass cases in a darkly lit portion of the restaurant. My wife and I have been wanting to try Trejo's restaurant since they open but never had a chance until now. First things first, for a Mexican restaurant, been a Mexican I was expecting more of the Mexican vibe, you know the music, the decor or may be see a salsa bar. It didn't feel like that.
