Sakura | Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi

Great service and the bartender is absolutely killing it with the best drinks! We tried the new sushi box—it totally exceeded our expectations. So happy to see a local small business making such a big impact in the community.

Keep it simple:
Katsu made with 5-Spice, and meat was bland.
Sashimi was oily and room temperature when it came. Bento box Siu-Mai had freezer burn and was slimy as well. No refills on drinks.

Drive down the road to David's, the Japanese is much better and less expensive compared to this.

Gratuity add to bill by the restaurant.

Sakura is a very nice restaurant.
My wife introduced me to the place shortly after we were married.

She and her family had gone there with her dad's good friend and his family for many years before we met, so she has many fond memories of the restaurant.

I don't have personal knowledge, but Sakura has the look and feel of a long term, well established, family owned business.

They offer standard table dining, the fancy Benihana style hibachi dinner cooked on the griddle with a flashy show of cooking skill, and they also offer Japanese style counter seating.

We've been several time and had both table dining and the hibachi show. The food and service have been excellent every time, and the prices are very reasonable.

I would have never discovered this gem of a restaurant if not for my wife's fond memories of the place, and I'm very happy she introduced me to Sakura.

If you have not been there, we both highly recommended you give Sakura a try.

Best hibachi around. Definitely will be back again.

Tempura was the worst I've ever tasted. Sushi was not on par either. The dishes are tasteless and feels like it's prepared in a rush with no attention to quality or taste. Will not try again. Jinju and Osaka over this restaurant anytime.

Food was good but some of the shrimps were not salted at all an they miss 3 noodles for 3 people an we ask for an is like he didn't hear us an the show was 4 out of 10 onestly

Excellent restaurant! Been here twice for hibachi and each time it’s been great food and a great experience. The scallops and salmon are always a solid go-to, and the sushi, especially the Spiderman sushi, is wonderful!

Sushi was great. Good portions of fish, the rolls are not mostly rice like some places. They had a special "hanami platter" that was fantastic if you want some more unique sushi options. Very happy

Ate here July 21st for a friend's birthday.
We were sat right away and they gave a nice table in back since we had multiple people attending
Prices were more than fair (esp in California!)
Our waitress was very attentive and would check on us every now and then
I had the NY steak bento box and that includes a lot of food (like rice, shumai, sushi, and tempura shrimp and veg and salad), miso soup, and green tea. Everything was cooked and made to perfection and came out in a timely manner.
