Quite pleased except for the lack of service. Never asked if we would like something to drink. If it had been very busy it would have been understandable but they were not.
Excellent experience. Good selection of wines and a full menu. You are sure to find something to please you. It made for a memorable evening.
We booked a table for 6 for Mother's Day. I even called on Sunday to double check about the reservation. No where online nor when I called did they say there would be a price fixed menu. We didn't know until we all sat down that it was price fixed at $125 per person! Unfortunately, by that time, it was too late to get up and leave and try to find another place close by. The dinner was good - but definitely not worth $125 pp! Waiter was great. He seemed to understand our plight and sympathized with us.
A very good local restaurant.
The taste of the dishes is perfect and the service excellent.
Here the food is prepared with love and attention.
Excellent!!
Amazing place with amazing service and food.
Didn't know what to expect from the bistro concept hidden somewhere in woodside but we were blown off our feet with the amazing dinner!
I usually don't change my mind in restaurant when choosing something at home 😃 but the daily offer of petrale sole was amazing! I hesitated to order it for couple of days and how happy I was to wait for this place to have it!
The staff is amazing, we liked the interaction with the waiters...made this place special.
Really fingers crossed for all of you and thanks for amazing experience! 💙
We had a very time at Firehouse Bistro. Our server was very friendly and helpful as we decided what we would eat and drink. The food was well prepared and tasted fantastic. We will return! Thanks kindly.
Expected full menu. Other tables also discovered prefixed menu only. We were rushed to order. Staff not fully informed of the menu.
Valentine's Day special menu/price was not advertised on Open Table - the only menu available. We have dined here before. Menu price was $130 pp for three courses. Soup was added and price was reduced to $120 pp. A glass of champagne was on in included in price. This price was quite a bit higher than most of the restaurants in the area. Restaurant is cold-every time the door opens a draft comes in. Soup was very good (pea with mushrooms/nuts) but not hot enough. Filet mignon entree was very good. NY steak had mushroom shaped potatoes which were not completely cooked. Two desserts were offered -wait staff brought us one of each without asking which we preferred. The regular menu is definitely preferable. Not advising that there is a special menu misleads the diners. One couple did leave - people only have a certain budget. May return for the regular menu, but never for a special menu.
Normally we choose Firehouse Bistro because of the quiet ambiance, last nite they were full and it was difficult to hear our table of 4.

Great food and experience! We will definitely be back with friends and family. Thank you Firehouse Bistro.
Amazing experience! Fantastic food and great service.
Loved birthday dinner with my hubs! The food was delicious, especially the desserts! They even gave him a dessert with a candle for his birthday. It was a little on the pricier side, but I would definitely go back again. it's a super cute venue, not too big and cozy vibe.
We're lived less than 5 miles from the restaurant for over 25 years and just "discovered" it 2 weeks ago. We had a lovely dinner and enjoyed the service that Max our server treated us too. So much so that we had a celebratory dinner with 7 and chose Firehouse Bistro for last nights dinner. It didn't disappoint! Great atmosphere, lovely accommodations and very good food. Everyone enjoyed the occasion.
Quaint quiet charming restaurant. Beautifully decorated in Woodside style. Loved the Sinatra inspired vibes playing and we could actually converse easily, personally, I hate a noisy restaurant. Food fresh and delicious. Very attentive service although handled by one server alone who does a great job.
