Very disappointing experience. There were no signs saying they were at capacity, and we saw empty tables. A staff member welcomed us and said they’d take care of us, but another abruptly turned us away when she heard we didn’t have a reservation. The attitude felt rude and dismissive, and the interaction came across as discriminatory. Poor customer service—we won’t be back.

Absolutely a great tour of the vineyard and the winery with a lot of great details on the history, the vine cultivation and wine making. On top of the tour, we have been delighted by the wine tasting, with all the different type of wines, through the different domain and vintage. We really enjoyed our time at the winery and I highly recommend this tour and tasting to everyone.

We biked past, were welcomed in, and bought a bottle of amazing rose. Very friendly and knowledgeable host!

I'll give this 3 stars as I was kicked out for bringing my child. Not being from California I didn't know that was a thing, most states allow children under 21, so that was a disappointment considering the drive it takes just to get up there but the views were beautiful and their property is lovely. Just don't bring your kids

Overpriced wine. The name on the bottle doesn't help sell it. The guy has a horrible reputation locally.

This is a beautiful venue for weddings and special celebrations!

I planned and coordinated a wedding here and it was a pleasure to work with Kristin and Susan.

Our clients were very well taken care of and the wedding looked fabulous!

I recommend this winery if you are looking for indoor and outdoor venue in one, which also has stunning views!

Not worth the trip; service is so so, the reds are alright overall. Not a bad place to stop, relax and enjoy a tasting if you’re on your way to Monterey or traveling north to the Bay Area. The Pinot & Cabernet are good- one employee mentioned that around thanksgiving time they offer discounts when shopping online.

We had an amazing first visit at TF. The views are beautiful and the red wine selection is fantastic. However what made our experience was Ali she was so much fun and knowledgeable. We will be back Ali thanks so much!

Great afternoon spent here tasting on the delicious Pinot Noirs, Cab Franc’s and Rose’s. Our wine host was Catherine and she was terrific in sharing her knowledge about the wines and made our afternoon really fun enjoyable. My faves are the Rose and the Pinot Noir’s - fantastic!

Dropped in based on an “open wine tasting”sign and an open gate.

Turned away despite a 30% full “tasting” bar, room and patio.

Website says a “reservation is required but sometimes they take walk-ins before 4pm” (sometimes??).

They offered to sell us a bottle and let us open it. So will Whole Foods for a lot less trouble and cost.

Wineries with reservations know to use a gate to keep their parking lot from overflowing and to keep would-be patrons from being turned away. Otherwise, it is a lousy first experience.

Thomas Fogerty does not care how much time potential customers spend parking, walking up their hill and leaving with nothing.

Gave it an extra star for stunning views but the ambiguous and arbitrarily applied rules were a humiliating waste of a good Sunday.

Had an absolutely lovely afternoon here with my family to celebrate a special occasion and it could not have been more perfect! The outdoor patio space is shaded with views of the vineyards, there are large tables with comfortable seating, and the wines were fantastic. The most spectacular thing about our visit today was Kathryn, who served our wine and told us all about the property, the wines, the history of wine, and patiently answered all of our questions. Will be back with our family any time we can be!

Thomas Fogarty Winery offers an exceptional experience that showcases the beauty and quality of its wines. My visit in the afternoon, around 1:30 PM, provided a perfect opportunity to take in the breathtaking vineyard views and enjoy the calm ambiance.

The winery is renowned for its commitment to producing high-quality wines, particularly Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, which thrive in the cool, coastal climate. Each bottle reflects the meticulous care and passion that goes into the winemaking process.

During my visit, I was pleasantly surprised by their tasting offer: for just $35, I had the opportunity to experience five different wines. This tasting experience was delightful, with each wine showcasing the unique characteristics of the region. The knowledgeable staff was enthusiastic about sharing their expertise, providing insights into the history of the winery, the unique terroir, and the intricacies of their winemaking techniques.

After the tasting, we were so impressed by the quality of the wines that we decided to purchase a bottle to take home. The selection process was enjoyable, and the staff provided excellent recommendations based on our preferences.

Had an amazing wedding weekend here. Gorgeous views and weather in mid-May. Chardonnay is fantastic

It is a small local winery located in the Santa Cruz Mountains.Unlike most other wineries, it is located on top of the mountain. I think the founder came here because he wanted a cool climate. It's better to dress a little thick because it's on top of the mountain.Since it's a small winery, the vineyard is rather small. There is not a lot of wine produced every year. In a way, it's a rare wine that you can't find anywhere else. The view down the mountain is very cool. You can taste and buy wine in the shop. Lexington 2014 vintage was tasted and bought. It was pretty good. Thomas Fogarty brand chardonnay 1998 vintage wine was selected also with an affordable price. Vintage 1998 is the taste of pain in Korea, which almost ruined the country due to the economic crisis. I should share it together at the wedding celebration of my best friend since pain is one of strong taste of marriage.
