Line on Sunday morning. Pastries are on the pricier end, French themed, and good variety. The coffee is also solid! Tried the almond croissant ($5.75) and cheese roll ($5.75), along the multitudes of pastries we ordered. The cheese roll was packed full of flavorful Comte, and was wonderfully dense. The almond croissant was PACKED with almond filling and crust, and wasn't too sweet or buttery. Nice and light. Polite and cheery staff is always a plus :) No seating but you can grab pastries and sit on a step outside.

Bouchon Bakery is a good place to have a great pastries when you visit the Yountville. We were here at the noon time so the waiting line ...very long. Have fun with waiting time Finally We got the Almond croissant, morning bun, chocolate cake and bread...yummy and delicious. Latte coffee was good but the Chai latte just like the milk no taste of the chai . Overall good pastries but pricey.

Always a line but this is because the food is good. All made fresh on site. Very clean and clean well staffed with friendly staff.

OMG TAKE ME BACK. The line is long like all day, but it moves fairly quickly...and the worth is totally worth it. We got some of their most popular options: -Raspberry Macaron: Big macaron with a creamy and tangy center that was absolutely delectable with real raspberry; the macaron outer shells were perfectly thick and fresh...so so good -Chocolate Elcair: the cream on the inside reminded me of cold ice cream...perfectly sweet and creamy (light), and the outer layer was thick enough without overwhelming the cream on the inside; I really liked how it was the thin spread of chocolate on the outside that was truly sweet and not the cream on the inside -Almond Croissant: oh my gosh...you want the perfect croissant? Get this. It was packed with almond cream that left me speechless...SO GOOD; the layers of croissant were thin and many, buttery and flaky...oh my gosh...I am so sad that I didn't get more I almost forgot, but we also got hot americanos; they were light and had notes of roasted malt and grain.

Out of baked goods, nothing on the shelves, and a steady line of customers and you close at 6 PM. Shame.

Today I bought all sorts of pastries at Yountville Bouchon boulangerie and I could not be more disappointed. I used to go to this bakery and buy flaky croissants with almonds and real chocolate which reminded me of those bakeries in Bourgon France. Now the chocolate croissant did not even look like anything similar, just awful. I will never go back. What a pity when a great bakery like that turn to junk...good for people who do not know quality and just follow the trend.

Had to of course walk next door after our lunch to get the oversized macarons and eclair. The passion fruit and pistachio macaron tasted great and the shell was wonderfully light and crispy! The chocolate eclair was good but was a tad bit on the sweeter side than what I typically prefer. And the shot of espresso was the perfect pick me up to continue on with our wine tasting later in the afternoon!

Very popular bakery in the Yountville area, we stopped by on a Friday at 3:00 and there was no line which was great. I was in the area again the next day at the same time and there was a long line down the street. Very small store front, with limited outdoor seating. There are some benches and tables however we weren't sure if they were for Bouchon Bistro's waiting area so we hesitated to sit and eat our pastries there. The staff are very friendly and there was enough people to attend to multiple customers at a time and answer questions. Chocolate croissant: 4/5 maybe it's because I got mine in the afternoon but it wasn't as crisp and flaky as I'd expect it to be. It still tasted great though buttery and chocolatey, I'd probably buy plain croissants for breakfast next time. Chocolate chunk cookie - 4/5 very large cookie, made with dark chocolate so may not be good for kids who like sweeter chocolate. Ate this two days later and was still soft and chewy. Bouchons - 5/5 we got four but I regretted not buying a 6 pack to take home. This is Bouchon's version of a bite sized brownie, it tastes like brown butter and has little chocolate chips. Very decadent but good portion size. I wish they offered this for shipping. Macaron - 2/5 yes it's massive, they look perfect however this is such a miss texture wise. The outer shell of the cookie is too thick, and the interior is not moist and soft enough. Even after coming to room temperature the chocolate ganache was also too stiff. Basically a very dense and dry macaron. Overall, I will keep coming back for the bouchons but it's hard for me to justify standing in the heat for 30 min just to buy them.

Was 11th in line on a Sat mid-afternoon. Took about 10-15 min until I could order, and then a minimal wait to pay and pickup, so in-person ops were running smooth. (On the other hand, online ordering was unavailable the entire day, so that was a bummer.) 1. Almond croissant - pretty good. Would buy again. 2. Pain au chocolat - ok. Pricey but no regrets trying. 3. Ham and cheese danish - ok. Choice of cheese could have been better. 4. Chocolate eclair - ok. Rich chocolate. No regrets trying. 5. Plain croissant - meh. Don't waste your money. 6 Macaron flavors (from best to worst): Pistachio, Vanilla, Raspberry, Chocolate, Passion fruit, (Salted) Caramel. Macaron notes: Personally would not get passion fruit again (initial pungent(?) taste, but went away with each bite), and the caramel was like an overpowered goo (yuck, would not eat even if it was free). Speaking of which, the latter 4 were very heavy in flavor; only pistachio and vanilla had a light flavor. The top 4 flavors ranged from great to decent, and would definitely get again. Don't let the price scare you, these macarons are huge. On the other hand, these pricey prices are Norcal normal these days.

My favorite brie & purple basil on from Bouchon Bakery, with some additions of my favorite things-- aged balsamic from Napa Valley Olive Oil- Napa Store, Moutardes Fallot (Edmond Fallot) & extra from the garden of my neighbors Irén & Ted Jenny. Brie, heirloom tomato and basil from The French Laundry Culinary Gardens on baguette. I added my new favorite mustard and the green extra basil from my neighbors garden.

Their croissants are on point! Plain or the almond ones are our favorite. The bread loaf is nice and fresh. We also had their Brie and tomatoes sandwich which was amazing. Their coffees pair well with the pastries. The line is persistent but moves quickly.

Want a delicious slice of pecan pie and a great cup of coffee; this might just be your spot. Great cookies, croissants, muffins. All delicious and served with a smile.

Came to grab a few pastries while up in Napa. Arrived a little past 1:30 and per usual, I was greeted with a line stretching down the sidewalk. Thankfully one of the staff members was handing out water to the patrons in line as well as the QR code for the digital menu. I had my heart set on a Cheese Danish, but they were already sold out for the day. Instead I settled on two macarons: salted caramel and raspberry. Their portion size was very generous. Overall I prefer the raspberry, the outer cookie was soft yet flaky and the feeling was a mixture of both cream and raspberry jelly. When visiting Napa, add this bakery to your list of stops if time permits.

YUM! So worth the hype (and line)! Stopped on our way out of the valley in the morning for some sandwiches and coffee. Ended up getting some pastries to go as well. There was a bit of a line when we got there and it stayed consistent while we waited and then ate there. The bakery is in a small building that customers walk through, look at options, order, and then wait for their orders. Outside there are multiple tables and benches for seating, both covered and not. Our group got a variety of things and it was all devoured and fully enjoyed. The regular hot coffee was delicious, as well as their specialty coffee drinks (we tried the mocha and a vanilla latte). The sandwiches were warmed and on fresh bread and just what we needed in the morning. The pastries though were my favorite part! I cannot rave about them enough. They have quite the variety, and whichever you choose I do not think you'll be disappointed!

I have long stopped even thinking of coming here as the line proves to be a regular beast. This morning I got up to hit the Mini Model Train Stand Coffee thing near V Marketplace to score some fresh English muffins that are my FAVE to take home today and some Cold Brews Coffees. But nope! Closed on Monday- so i kept sauntering toward Bouchon and could see a dad arriving with kids on bikes and there was No Line! Ahhh! Is this happening? I'm gonna get to take home some Bouchon Bakery for my kids? My mind started racing- gotta get the home made Oreos!! But then I enter and its also pastries- right! I totally forgot about that part, but its also been maybe 10+ years. Luckily the family of kids in front were taking so long i had time to consider everything in there- like "oh, I should take home some bread!" So, the unique thing I discovered was the Chocolate/Almond Croissant option! Brilliant! You can have it both ways! Had to also get family fave of Reg Almond Croissant , A Kouign Amann for tasting.. heck, a plain one for good measure lol & homemade Oreos and Hoho's for Everyone plus a peanut butter sandwich cookie for good measure and a fresh pretzel just brought out before my eyes-for the drive home. (It was almost a sweet pretzel but really the mustard is like Chinese mustard- that it was like a Bao without the pork filling. A delicious unique, soft pretzel). So rare to stop here- I kinda went crazy but it's gonna be a hot day so nice to have yummy snacks around after returning from a wine country.
