✅ The gold pudding dessert was delightful and delicate.

🆗 Chocolate and almond croissant – While nothing quite compares to the one at Arsicault in SF, this one had a nice, crispy texture.
🆗 Chocolate bouchon – I couldn't quite grasp the texture or flavor. It wasn’t a brownie or a cake, but it also wasn’t particularly memorable.

👎 TKO – This was an unusual item, and I guess it just wasn’t suited to my palate.
I will not go back. Why?
Croissant was ok-good, almond croissant was twice baked which means it's really too dry. I don't want a "biscotti", I want a moist almond croissant. The coffee was ok-good.
It's too expensive for what it is.
There are better French bakeries in the
bay area for less money.
The croissant is fine.
But honestly ... and can't believe I'm going to say this ... but Trader Joe's almond knot is better ... lighter, fluffier, more almond flavor.
$30 for 2 coffees and 2 croissant including tax and tip.
Not really worth it, but a fun visit to Yountville nonetheless.
Staff was excellent.
