We dined at Bouchon during our visit to Yountville last week. After having a 10/10 experience at the Las Vegas location we were excited to dine at another location. The food, was outstanding, the service unfortunately couldn’t have been worse. Luis L. was our server and completely ruined our experience. He couldn’t have been less attentive, less hospitable, and less enthused to have guests at his table. We were informed Bouchon lost its Michelin star due to service. Truly unfortunate for the concept.

Solid French food (hard to find outside of France) in a very stylish place. Service was awesome.

We just got back from dinner for our 15 year wedding anniversary, and while the food and atmosphere were incredible, the service for such a lofty establishment was fairly lacking. Our experience started off fine, but our server was quite aloof and casual from the start. It was the end of our experience that really stands out as bizarre and unexpected from a restaurant of such high regard. We ordered our dessert and coffee just fine, but once we had everything our server almost seemed annoyed by our presence, and didn't say a word when he dropped our check, or follow through with the promise of a photo to commemorate our anniversary night. We spent well over $300 for the two of us, but it seemed like we weren't deemed very important to the staff. There were two other tables near us also celebrating anniversaries, and they received complimentary dessert (we paid full price for ours). Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for the food, but beware that the service may or may not be what you would expect from an establishment of this caliber.

At the end of the day, satisfaction is based on value, and the absence of anything crazy happening. The service was inexperienced for the place and price. Just not professional. It doesn’t need to be stuffy, but should be so relaxed you feel you are at a quick service restaurant. The food was disappointing. The small portion of lamb had entire bites that were only fat. The $80 Dover Sole was expertly carved at the table, but nothing impressive. The menu was fairly predictable, not innovative. Bread was amazing. Pistachios for the table was confusing. Pate was ok.

Waited in a long line for over rated food. Prices are high too, but it's Napa (Yountville) so expected.

Bouchon Bistro will forever hold a special place in our hearts. My wife and I have been coming here for over 12 years, and it’s not only one of our all-time favorite restaurants; it’s a must every time we visit Napa. We’ve celebrated birthdays, anniversaries, our engagement, and soon we’ll be back in December for our babymoon.
The food is consistently exceptional. The roast chicken is the best we’ve ever had, the steak frites is divine, and the salade lyonnaise is indulgent perfection. You simply have to end the evening with the profiteroles and crème brûlée; it’s non-negotiable.
But what truly sets Bouchon apart is the team. The staff goes above and beyond to make every visit special. Their hospitality is world-class, and it’s clear they take immense pride in what they do.
Thank you, Bouchon, for being such an enduring part of our lives and memories. We can’t wait to be back soon.

We had a wonderful meal at Bouchan Bistro. The food was fantastic and the service was even better. We were seated outside as we had a small dog with us. From the moment we arrived, the service provided was excellent. The menu had a choice for everyone in our group and the specials were all tempting. We all tried each other's entree and every one was delicious. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The wine list was fairly extensive but had something in almost every price range. The wine was served by the sommelier and answered all of our questions. All in all, a very enjoyable meal and evening.
