We finally got to get in and try Ciccio! I consider myself a pizza snob, and this was the best pizza I have ever tasted. Unbelievably good. We also had the Cesar salad, heirloom tomatoes, and the focaccia. This is my new favorite restaurant for sure. It’s refreshing to be able to go somewhere in a very expensive area and get great food at a fraction of the cost compared to most restaurants around. The staff was also very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable.

We had a good dinner. The restaurant is noisy and there were 6 of us, so some shouting.

Good pizza and nice staff.
They’d asked us to move tables and kindly had given us some free focaccia, which was also good.

Awesome local spot. Probably the best pepperoni pizza I've ever eaten! Melanie the bartender is a gem....great conversation, recommendations and service. We can't wait to visit again. Well done Ciccio.

absolutely perfect experience. amazing service, atmosphere, food, cocktails.
everything I love in a restaurant it hit.
felt like home and the food made me feel like I was being swaddled by an Italian grandpa with a bottle of Amari.
if I was staying here for longer I would have gone every night to try everything on the menu twice over.

My wife and I ate here last week and it was just phenomenal. The service was top-notch and I would highly recommend getting the pork chop.

Laid back but chic atmosphere. Might be the best pepperoni pizza I’ve ever had. The tomahawk steak was also delicious

Eaten at Italian restaurants the world over and Ciccio is officially the best of the lot. Farm-to-table ingredients meet careful and measured preparation by an elite team in the kitchen, providing us with some of the most delicious and satisfying meals ever. That's all before mentioning the extensive range of local and non-local wines, as well as the incredible knowledge and attentiveness of the team.

Don't miss the Gnudi, the Pepperoni pizza or the Focaccia starter!

Hands down the best pizza I’ve ever tasted including Bianca and Mozza. Many chefs claim they’re using sourdough starter in their dough, but this place actually DOES. Phenomenal balance of texture and flavor. We didn’t even touch the pork chop we ordered. Too focused on the pizza. We will be back! Same restaurant group as The Charter Oak. Love both places.

In the competitive culinary field that is the Napa valley food scene, I feel it’s fair to say that finding an accurate way to weed through the best of the best without dishing out 5 stars to everyone can be a real challenge. However, Ciccio’s is a magnificent, tasty, and entirely rewarding experience. Having lived in New York for 10 years, I never thought I’d say that the best pizza I’ve ever eaten was created by a West Coast restaurant in wine country, and yet here we are. If Google let me add another star, I would. The food is that good! Don’t sleep on their cocktails. The Negroni and Espresso Martini were masterful.

Ok ill admit it up front, I shouldn’t be reviewing Italian restaurants in the U.S., which I usually avoid. I’m italian, I make fresh pasta, pizza and have had some of the best meals of my life in Italia and at my Nona’s table. But I heard great things about Ciccio, and we love Charter Oak, its cousin, so we went (someone also treated, so hey).

On to the food:

Focaccia? That’s not focaccia, its sky high bread - focaccia should be thin and bubbly and crispy. I’m not sure what that was.

Pizza - crust was ok, a little dense, certainly not a Napoli pie. But Avocado? I’m open to California Pizza, I make them, but big chunks of Avocado just don’t belong on a pie, it was like a bad joke of a Cali-Pie.

Pork Chop Milanese - this is the reason I decided to post a review. Milanese is pounded thin and gently pan fried, served tender crisp. At Ciccio it’s clear they just throw it in the deep fryer, like they are making a Torta Milanese up at Azteca Market, the taqueria in Saint Helena (which is great BTW). But we are not in Mexico, we are in Italy, this is what happens in Yountville.

Swordfish special - was undercooked and limp, not grilled like a good spada grilliata in Sicilia. More like a crudo- I’m up for rare in the middle tuna, it’s not how you cook Spada and this was raw in more than the middle.

Desserts were good, wine list had some nice whites and values (Greco was nice) but scan over to the reds and the prices - are we in the same restaurant?

Room is nice, outdoor very nice, but I just don’t get the line out the door and the hype. Again, Charter Oak is fantastic, we go there often, not sure what happened here.

Welcome to Yountville, where it’s Valentines Day every day.

Delicious food and fantastic environment

We loved the meatball stuffed peppers, brought me back to a dish Nonna makes

The sea bream crudo was also incredible , and of course the pizza , one of the best I’ve had.

Thanks to Olivia for her wonderful and attentive service as well.
