This was a lovely location. We had a wonderful hostess, Amy, who was super friendly and attentive. The atmosphere for the tasting was sitting outside at a table with just our party and felt very personal and friendly. The wine wasn’t our taste, and this was one of only a couple wineries we did not make a purchase, but the experience was still super pleasant.
In the Napa Valley floor, Goosecross got its name from the literal geese that would everyday cross the road and the winery estate to get to the river. The winery has been around for decades and is now owned by Christi and Dave Ficeli.
I tasted their rosé, Merlot, Estate Cab, and Holly's Block Cabernet Sauvignon.

WOW! This is our new favorite winery. Ryan was so knowledgeable and fun to be with. He took more time with us than anyone ever has. We couldn’t schedule a tour, but he took us on one anyway we got to see each vine, each grape, and the production facility. And the cab… it’s a new fave. Very very nice. You can’t find this stuff anywhere else. You have to stop in.
