I really enjoyed my stay at North Block. The hotel was close to everything. We could walk to all of the best restaurants and bakeries. The hotel had a coffee bar during the day and at night they would change it to a wine bar. They were super personable. I would stay at North Block again.

Highly recommended, defiantly not the cheapest place to stay (but on par with the area). We had a king room which benefited from a front and rear patio, lots of seating options around the property too. Nice big bathroom with double sinks along with separate bath and shower. Room and properly well kept and service was excellent too. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had the most incredible experience at the North Block Hotel this week. From the attention to detail the second we walked into the hotel, to the amazing service we received throughout from everyone; our visit was nothing short of fantastic.When we arrived we were greeted by Christian at the front desk who greeted us by name. He Him, Carter, and a few others at the hotel really made our first time in Napa memorable and special. We also enjoyed some of the most delicious food at the hotel restaurant. The menu is exquisite. I recommend adding the toast and jam as a side to any breakfast plate. The spa was also incredible and Bianca really worked wonders on my back and with my facial. Our room was very clean and the room service ladies came by every night with chocolates and a personalized card. It really made our trip feel special. We cannot wait to return to the North Block and make this our little Napa home away from home. I can’t rave about how incredible our stay was.Thanks, North Block!Rooms: Our room was exceptionally clean and beautiful. We were greeted with a personalized card from the hotel in our room as soon as we walked in. I loved how spacious and wonderful the tub was.Safety: I felt very safe in Yountville. It’s lights out around 10:00pm so if you’re looking for calm and quiet to relax, this is the place. The hotel was also very quiet and relaxing.Walkability: The hotel is very central. All of the restaurants we wanted to try in Yountville are walking distance. You’ll find yourself next to RH Yountville, a few minutes from the French Laundry, Bouchon, the Bouchon Bakery, Mini Model, Bottega, and many other fantastic spots.Food & drinks: The restaurant is amazing. They recently revamped their menu and the chefs really know what they’re doing. Consider trying the breakfast burger, the avocado toast, the lemon ricotta pancakes, and the toast and jam for breakfast!

Highest of recommendations! I have stayed in many "high-end" hotels, and the rooms at North Block are in the top 3. The onsite restaurant and loaner bikes were a huge perk. My wife and i are already planning a return visit to Yountville and plan to stay at North Block again.

My husband and I loved the quiet vibe, intimacy, and privacy this boutique hotel offers. It ranks among the best we've experienced in our 35+ years of travel. The bedding is sumptuous and the bathrobes are very cozy (not ordinary that you find in other hotels). The room is tastefully appointed and the bathroom is large. I enjoyed reading on the private little patio with a glass of wine while listening to the soothing sound of the courtyard fountain. The pool area is private with comfortable loungers and seating surrounded by beautiful garden landscaping. Extra touches like turn-down service, designer chocolates at nighttime, and full selection of spirits and snacks in the room make you feel special. The entire staff is gracious and ready to assist their guests in any way. The location is ideal, just off the main highway yet tucked away to match the hotel's understated elegance. A short walk on lovely Washington Street brings you to restaurants and a few shops. A positively memorable stay.

Our experience at North Block Hotel this year in July was nothing short of phenomenal. We had stayed at North Block for 3 nights last year in September of 2022 and liked it enough to return but we did have some service snags that year. I have a severe food allergy (that would ruin a trip) and no one seemed to be able to help either before or while we were there with if the on site restaurant could safely accommodate OR with local restaurants that could.This year, however, from the start, the service was 5-star. We entered the lobby and were greeted by Carter, the Guest Services Supervisor. He was so pleasant, welcoming and made us feel completely at home. He went above & beyond to make sure we felt welcome and celebrated (it was also our honeymoon). He continued to be a joy to talk with throughout our stay.Another highlight was the spa experience. Carlos was my therapist and - though I have gotten about a million massages in my life - this was one of THE BEST.Finally, I want to give special thanks and recognition to the restaurant, chef & staff at the hotel. This year, on our first day, we were sitting outside enjoying a glass of wine and just chatting with a server and she had EXTENSIVE knowledge of their menu, how it could be adapted for me food allergy & made us feel so comfortable that we booked a reservation for the next night. The North Block Restaurant is not to be missed - such a creative menu, super fresh seafood and great chef & staff. Haley was our server and she was amazing - she knew exactly how we could adapt dishes to be gluten-free or was willing to ask. We had one of the best meals we'd had in YEARS and it far surpassed our experience this year at Bouchon. Special thanks to the restaurant - it was such a pleasure to me to enjoy pancakes, potato pave, fresh seafood & dessert, all gluten-free.It's worth the investment to stay at North Block. Truly a serene and amazing experience; we'll be back!

My wife and I celebrated her birthday for two nights. The room was perfect, we slept quietly on a very comfortable bed. The 50' pool was temperature perfect ( as was the spa).. my wife had a wonderful facial and we had relaxing and skilled massages. The dining was delicious. And the hotel staff were amazing!! Yountville os adorable, full of delicious restaurants and manicured parks. Don't miss this place... we are going back.
I just had the best experience here. All of the staff are so nice and so wonderful; super helpful. Christian helped us check in and he was so lovely. The beds are the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. Their bathrooms are amazing and beautiful. (I loved that they had a bathroom scale in the bathroom, too). The hotel property is super pretty (excellent for photos). And the hotel location is perfect - you’re under 10 minutes from the majority of all the wineries. I would undoubtedly stay here again, and cannot recommend this place enough to anyone looking for a hotel near Napa Valley.

Davis & Christian were the best! The hotel rooms were so spacious and the bed/sheets were so comfortable. This hotel really thought of everything (cozy fire places in rooms, bath salts for the large bath tub, heated floors in the bathroom, etc). The staff was extremely knowledge on local places to eat, drink visit etc. Davis and Christian tended to all our needs, they were wonderful. thank you! 100% staying here again.

Greeted with bright smiles, friendly faces, and wine or champagne as soon as we walked in the door for my wife's birthday celebration stay. Pool and jacuzzi open 24 hours a day, spa on site, and very comfortable rooms with great taste of furniture. I wanted to steal the leather chair. Soaking tub, separate shower, and a very comfortable bed. As soon as we dropped our bags and walked out the door, they sent a text opening lines of communication for anything we needed. As we were sitting for a drink and bite, I texted them that it was my wife's birthday. Within minutes, they hit me back, stating they would bring something to the room. When we returned, we found a bottle of champagne ready for us. Food was great too. We had oysters and wings with drinks before dinner. Wings were really tasty, but the winner was the oysters. Best mignonette I have ever had. They also provided another citrus type sauce and hot sauce. Really good. After dinner, which was walking distance, we came back for live music and a drink. We also had room service breakfast, which was delicious. Honestly, customer service means a lot to me, and this place hit it out of the park. We had a great stay and will come back.

We had a fabulous stay here in early August. Carter and Christian at the front desk were both incredibly nice, friendly, and quick to offer assistance or advice (as well as a glass of wine upon our arrival). This was our first time in Yountville and they helped make it special! The hotel itself is beautiful, with bright, clean, spacious rooms, and a partially enclosed courtyard that immediately makes you feel like you're on vacation. We ate lunch at the North Block restaurant, which was fabulous, and then wandered across the street for wine tastings and then down the street to R+D for dinner. Everything about the experience was top notch and the hotel's location cannot be beat!
