Advance reservation was made for four adults on 10/8/24 at 7:15pm for a Tuesday night, three from China. Server was stressed because all diners did not speak English with difficulty with menu choices. Three meals were served at room temperature and the fourth order was incorrect and it needed an additional 20 minutes to serve our waiting guest. Offer was made to comp the wrong order which we tasted, but did not like at all. When the check came, I asked for one meal to be complimentary, and it was. I should have left the table with my guests when the fourth order was missing. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED and will not ever return again! This review is not against the Owner, the Chef, quality of Food or the Staff. This is only a SERVICE ISSUE! WHEN FOOD ISN'T SERVED HOT FROM THE KITCHEN, IT SHOULD NEVER REACH THE TABLE TO ANY GUEST! Enjoy...

We have eaten here a few times and generally, during harvest season, best to visit in a weeknight when crowds are smaller. While the food is always amazing, the staff can pay more attention to you/questions/recommendations when they aren't so busy. The gnocchi is incredible and the Sofia Loren pasta is a must (sometimes we start with that to share!) Cocktails and wine selection are wonderful, and the zeppoli delicious! We will be back!

Fantastic food and atmosphere. Service/ wait staff left some to be desired. For the level of restaurant and price should have impeccable service - not someone who seems annoyed and inconvenienced by us being there!

We expected a great meal here based on it being a Michael Chiarello restaurant and good reviews. The bread and dip was fantastic. The burrata appetizer was delicious. The polenta in a jar was so salty, we each ate 2 bites and left the rest....and we love polenta. The bolognese pasta was ok, not great. The restaurant was bustling and had a good vibe. Our server was ok. Our busboy was very friendly. With so many great restaurants in the area, we won't be back.

We have been to this restaurant before and had a better experience the first time. It was so dark as we tried to find the entrance. I almost had to put the flashlight on my phone. The appetizers were fantastic and it is a beautiful ambience inside and out. The main courses were good not great. The waiter was very attentive in the beginning, but then left us with a table full of dirty plates. Perhaps they were understaffed but given the significance of the amount of money we were spending over $300 I would've thought we would've gotten better service. Disappointing.

Very disappointing meal. I eat frequently in Yountville, and I recommend dining elsewhere. I ordered the chicken. It was incredibly spicy, as if dusted with cayenne pepper. I could not eat it. The server did not smile once during the meal service. The Brussels sprouts were tasty which sort of made up for not being able to eat the main course. The outdoor setting is lovely.

We have been to Botegga many times over the years and the food is always fantastic. On this visit unfortunately, the service was really below average. We needed a few things during the entree and ended up standing up to ask a bus boy for it because no server or manager was able to be flagged down. That resulted in confusion and just an overall bad experience. When we mentioned it to the server with the check it felt confrontational.

Brussels sprouts salad with Meyer lemon dressing and Marcona almonds was divine. My husband had the Sophia Loren pasta cooked in tomato water. Sounds odd, right. I think that dish stole the show. Gin and tonic was excellent. I'm not a tonic fan but had heard it was noteworthy. It was!! Juniper berries and peppers. Very nice. My favorite dinner of the week. And it's a beautiful place. Thanks!!

We had the best experience from the start to end! Our waiter Tamara was amazing and very knowledgeable on menu and wine selections! She was responsive and over all great personality..we are visiting from Texas with friends and so enjoyed the evening Keep up the great job! Food was amazing

Too many tables crammed in that room, resulting in the room being incredibly loud. We couldn't even hear each other. It felt like a cafeteria. It really wasn't enjoyable and it resulted in us wanting to leave as quick as we could

My wife and I dined at Bottega Napa Valley on Friday, 27 September, 2024. We had the Burrata appetizer which was simple yet delicious. For dinner we had a seared halibut on heirloom tomato risotto, and the short ribs. Both were absolutely divine. Seasoning was perfect, cook was perfect. The food was simply delicious. Service was excellent, attentive, and our waiter was a character who treated us like family - it was a very welcoming experience. Noise level was great, actually. Napa Valley is LOUD, but in Bottega, the noise level was well managed (with the occasional exception of a couple tables of people who were obviously enjoying their wine). My wife and I could easily carry on a normal volume conversation while eating. The ambiance was nice and romantic and seating was not crowded at all.

Great dining experience! A very welcoming place, all dishes served were beyond delicious, and ingredients were carefully combined. All staff were friendly, efficient, attentive at all times, we had a couple of table requests and were accommodated immediately. We ordered multiple meals in sequence to share and were served timely and at the right temperature. Very nice. Will be back again!

This was our second time coming to Bottega, and it did not disappoint. We wanted to come back for the short rib specifically and it was as good as we remembered. Always such a great experience and the service is great. Will definitely make the trip back.

There were six of us and we had a great time! Lovely restaurant with very good food. Service was excellent. It was somewhat noisy but I could hear all the conversations at our large round table. We ate inside, great lighting and ambience and comfortable chairs. A couple of us had the charcoal pasta carbonara, it was very good. The cocktails were outstanding.

The one thing they should do is find a solution for the flies buzzing around their outside tables. They try to use citronella candles, but investing in some effective UV fly traps might be advisable. Other than that, everything was great.
