We had a long wait between our appetizers and our main courses. The kitchen seemingly lost our order. The staff was very apologetic and tried to make up for it. The quality of the food was great.

What a disappointment! Michael Chiarello must be rolling over in his grave! I have been to Bottega many times before, and it was one of my favorite restaurants. I always received great service and delicious, meticulously prepared food. That was, unfortunately, not the case this time! Three of us came for an important celebration. The service was very spotty with long waits between courses. The food was poorly prepared and the plating was "clunky". The Cuori di Carciofo, crispy artichoke hearts, were like eating some fried sticks of unknown origin. The Carbonara al Carbone had at least five chunks of bone, which could of cracked my teeth. As well, when I finished, there was a big pool of oil on my plate. The dish was overly salty. Worst of all was the Costolette di Manzo,smoked and braised short rib. This used to be my favorite dish. Previously it used to be tender and rich. I was served something that was dry and cloyingly sweet. For dessert, the donuts were good, but the gelato did not seem to be high quality. Not including the bottle of wine that was ordered, the bill was $320 for 3 of us. In this case, not worth it. There was a fairly large party there that was exceptionally noisy, where many of them were actually yelling. Sadly, this was not the experienced that the 3 of us had hoped for. All three of us had been there numerous times before. I won't be coming back.

To their credit, Bottega manager came over before we even complained and owned the long delay and comp'd the pastas However even when the pasta came, it was unfortunately not good. Both were way too al dente (borderline hard / raw), and super super salty. Won't be going back. We used to love this place and have been several times (admittedly a few years ago), but throughout our meal the food was very average, and service pretty terrible this time unfortunately

Such a charming restaurant with authentic italien food! The service was above and beyond by Michael! Professional and so friendly! We absolutely love the wines list and choose a super Toscan Antinori wine! The food was so fresh and tasty! Do not miss the dessert .. especially the panna Cotta. Thank you Kelly to manage perfectly Bottega! A dinner to remember!

The appetizer of Ahituna was so small for the price and very flavorless. The lamb chops with the risotto were cooked on the outside, but near the bone it was raw. The risotto was watery where it should be more solid. The noise was very loud if we ever eat there again, we will ask to be outside. You should have better chefs. We are locals

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary there and the service was nothing short of amazing! We had a great time, had an anniversary note left for us on the table and a really cute dessert with a sweet message too. Our entrees were fantastic and the appetizers were also very tasty! I am pregnant and had a mocktail which was my favorite part.... I haven't enjoyed a drink in a bit and that was a treat! Overall great food, service and a beautiful restaurant located in the heart of Yountville

The ambiance has a hip vibe, the service was excellent, very attentive while not being intrusive---the best. The food; however, was a true disappointment. We had the artichoke appetizer which was deep fried, chewy and really flavorless. And we had the Arancini, also was deep fried (that's our fault for 2 deep fried apps), thankfully the sauce was tasty. The biggest disappointment was the prawn stuffed tortellini which was thick pasta and a strange taste that we couldn't place. It was overdone and not tasty. The spaghetti dish was okay but I would never order it again. Overall the food was very un! Unflavorful, uncreative, uninteresting and unappetizing.

Nice setting, a little loud for older people, parking was difficult as the main parking is just across the street from a well known bakery. Food was very good, as was the service. Enjoyed our meal and will return.
We walked to Bottega from the Yountville Estate and had a fabulous dinner. The restaurant is beautiful inside and out. Great menu with unique Italian dishes, steaks, and seafood. The Braised Short Rib was one of the best I've ever had. We will be back!

I made reservations for my one year anniversary with my wife. It was a recommendation from coworker. Food: Some dishes were fantastic and others were okay. I was a disappointed at the fact that my pasta was not al dente. For an italian restaurant you would think you would get that down. Also for the price they charge. I thought judging from the pictures that they would do something nice for your anniversary as i have. seen the pictures. But sadly no such thing was brought to our table. So i was very disappointed. Service: the service needs work. I'm not sure if our server was just busy or what not but we had to wave him down quite a few times. Having worked in the industry i often check on my table. Not sure if that was an off date but the table in front as well as the table on my right was also not happy. Again giving benefit of a doubt maybe they are having an off night or someone called in sick and they are covering. Ambiance: The lighting was good it set the tone. When we first walked in and were seated it was a nice touch that there was a card that said happy anniversary. But again when we ordered dessert at the end no special plate of dessert that said happy anniversary or nothing. Overall the food was okay not something to be wow'ed service needs a lot of work (maybe just off night). You know the saying you get what you pay for? I definitely did not feel I got what i paid for. Definitely not my choice to come back and eat and probably won't go again!

Advance reservation was made for four adults on 10/8/24 at 7:15pm for a Tuesday night, three from China. Server was stressed because all diners did not speak English with difficulty with menu choices. Three meals were served at room temperature and the fourth order was incorrect and it needed an additional 20 minutes to serve our waiting guest. Offer was made to comp the wrong order which we tasted, but did not like at all. When the check came, I asked for one meal to be complimentary, and it was. I should have left the table with my guests when the fourth order was missing. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED and will not ever return again! This review is not against the Owner, the Chef, quality of Food or the Staff. This is only a SERVICE ISSUE! WHEN FOOD ISN'T SERVED HOT FROM THE KITCHEN, IT SHOULD NEVER REACH THE TABLE TO ANY GUEST!
