Disappointed by Outdated and Unequal Dress Code
Visited for lunch and sat outside on a warm day, dressed casually in a sleeveless shirt—no graphics or offensive language. After being seated, I was told that men must wear shirts with sleeves or we’d have to leave. Meanwhile, multiple women around us wore tank tops and thin strap blouses without issue. When I asked why the rule only applied to men, no explanation was given.
The selective enforcement felt like a clear double standard. If a restaurant wants to enforce a dress code, it should be clearly posted, consistently applied, and equally respectful of all guests. This felt less about policy and more about bias.
We chose to leave and won’t be returning. The food wasn’t memorable enough to outweigh the experience, especially at a place trying to project a more refined image. If customer respect matter to you, I’d recommend taking your business elsewhere.
Food was great but really weird how everything arrived at once. Had to creatively make room for starters and main dishes. Felt like they couldn't wait for me to finish
Great food and service
Great place to eat and buy gifts!
I’ve enjoyed dining at this restaurant multiple times—the food, ambiance, and most of the staff are consistently excellent. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been overshadowed by the conduct of one manager, Micah Martin.
While the restaurant itself is outstanding, Mr. Martin’s demeanor and management style have raised concerns. He comes across as unwelcoming and selectively enforces policies, choosing when and to whom the “rules” apply. This inconsistency creates discomfort for guests and staff alike and ultimately detracts from what should be an enjoyable and inclusive environment.
It's disappointing to see such a great establishment compromised by one individual’s attitude. I hope leadership takes this feedback seriously, as the quality of service and fairness in treatment should reflect the excellence the restaurant is otherwise known for.
Seat me at an outside table with a margarita, the Dip Duo, and the Emerald Kale salad with chicken and I may never leave. 😊 I have been coming here for years but it has recently been in my top 3 places and I have it on repeat as my Go-To!
Great service, clean and awesome food.
Great service great food. The weather cooperated and it was very nice outside. The chicken sandwich and the Cuban were both good and were worth doing again. Plenty of parking.

Good value for money especially for the area. Our table was mostly happy with our food and drinks. I ordered the beef burger which was very good but I wish it came with a side of fries (or anything!).

The food is simply fabulous!
It was my second time dining here. The first time was to celebrate my anniversary, and this time, I went for a Pre Valantine's Day dinner during the Super Bowel game with my hubby. It had been months since the first time I dined here, and I had to return because I'd continued to have thoughts of the dish I'd ordered last time. I'd ordered the spaghetti with these large size chicken meatballs with savory flavors that made my taste buds yearning for more months after. So, I had to order them for a second time. Again, my mouth was blown away with all the savory spices, cheese(s), and sauce all mixed together and placed on a large size plate. Yummy to my tummy!
This time around, my husband ordered for himself the barbecue ribs with coleslaw. Amazing! In addition, we ordered sushi rolls, I believe they were the crunchy sushi rolls, with a side of kale salad. When I say everything is delicious, I truly mean it! Even my lemon dropped from the bar. It wasn't as sweet as I'd expected, but the balance of alcohol and real lemon was really nice. I don't drink, but it gave me a smooth buzz. Let me not forget to mention the carrot cake. The best I've ever had!
So, do I recommend this restaurant. Yes, hands down! The food/drinks, service, and ambiance are wonderful! See you soon R+D Kitchen...

Well first of recommend by Winery. (1)was told could do up to 5 at a table . There were 5 adults and 1 child less than 3 years old . Then once seated told You can look at menu “ But5 Thomson with child couldn’t order . So they moved right across from Us. Then friends across from us with total of 3 children were told to. “ Take the kids outside “. The children weren’t unruly or blocking the isle. Good was fair not as good as referral. “ Eat here if You Endorse “ Racism is alive in 2924 !!!!!!

Kid-friendliness: Asked to leave when the children in our group were laughing and talking. If you don’t want children to be children don’t serve children, especially African American/black children. Could other children throughout the restaurant….!! It was a once in a lifetime experience at this establishment.
Exceeded my expectations! The burger was absolutely amazing—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The service was top-notch, with attentive and friendly staff who made the experience even better. The ambiance was cozy yet upscale, perfect for a relaxed meal in Napa Valley. Highly recommend!
